We ate at EVERY booth for the 2025 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival on opening day. This is one of our favorite things to do in all of Disney World, and we LOVE providing you with the best tips and tricks for your next visit.
Our tip for you today: breaking the one rule your mamas and grandmothers would be very disappointed in you for. But trust us, it’s worth it!
A typical day of eating for a lot of people likely looks like this: breakfast around 7 or 8AM, lunch around 11AM to 12PM, and dinner somewhere around 5 or 6PM. This schedule is usually a staple in households, but we’re going to let you in on a little secret: break the rules and DO NOT follow this schedule at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival.
First of all, it would be very challenging to have breakfast at the Food and Wine Festival since the booths don’t open until 11AM — the same time as most things in the World Showcase.
But grabbing a bite right at 11AM at the World Showcase booths might work out for you since many people might not have made it back to them yet. However, the booths that aren’t in World Showcase could be busy right when they open. That’s because those typical mealtimes for lunch and dinner are some of the busiest for the booths!
The best times to stop by the booths for snacks and drinks are times that aren’t usually mealtimes. It’s lots of fun to graze at the booths all day long and enjoy the rides around noon and 6PM. The portions are generally smaller than a full-sized meal, so grazing throughout the day works well.

Of course, this isn’t a hard and fast rule. If you see a short line at noon, jump in and grab yourself some tasty snacks! But in general, meal times might be when you want to jump on Living with the Land for a bit of a/c and relaxation.

Great suggestions. We made two mistakes last time we went to Epcot during the F&W Festival. The first was riding Spaceship Earth right when we entered. Line was long and far longer than the sign said it would be. The second was visiting the food kiosks during mealtimes thinking we could graze at dinnertime rather than sitting down at a restaurant. We are coming in mid November and will not make those mistakes this time.
