We have some exciting news from Destination D23 about Cinderella Castle at Disney World!
The classic colors are coming back! Cinderella Castle is getting a new color palette inspired by the classic and original look of the castle.
Disney just announced that Cinderella Castle is getting a new look. And by new look, we mean that the classic creams and blues are coming back to this iconic centerpiece of Magic Kingdom.
The updated paint will feature grays, creams, blues, and touches of gold that aim to enhance the castle’s architecture. Disney hasn’t announced yet when the castle will be getting this updated color palette, but we will update you as we learn more. For the occasion, we dug out a photo of the old color palette for Cinderella Castle to give you an idea of what the new makeover might look like!
The photo above shows the castle back in 2018, before the castle got its current colors. Currently, the castle has a light pink color along with blues, grays, and golds. The makeover coming to Cinderella Castle will bring back the classic colors.

SO glad to hear they’re bringing back the classic colors. The pink is a bit gaudy; although nothing so gaudy as the Pepto-Bismol pink of the 25th anniversary in 1996.

I have disliked the current color-scheme ever since Disney changed it. I’m so happy to hear that it will soon be more like the original. I prefer the classics.
