BIG changes are on the way for EPCOT very soon!
There’s already so much to enjoy at EPCOT during your Disney World vacation, and its growing all the time! We’ve recently checked out the park’s first adults-only lounge and got a chance to jam out with Goofy during the CoolKid Summer offerings. But, if you’ve visited EPCOT over the last few weeks (or happened to be keeping a close eye on our news), you’ll know that we’ve seen something familiar popping up around the park and it’s opening is getting closer each day.
It’s true — if you’ve visited EPCOT lately or just have kept a close watch over the latest updates with us here, you’ll know there’s been a phenomenon taking over EPCOT lately.
We’ve spotted over a dozen new additions lining EPCOT’s World Showcase and World Discovery, and they’re not completely foreign to us either. These new additions might look a bit empty right now, but give them a few weeks and they’ll be one of the most popular stops you’ll make during your EPCOT visit.
In just a few weeks, EPCOT will welcome back its annual Food & Wine Festival which showcases eats and sips from around the world. Visiting EPCOT during the festival you’ll be treated to delicious festival food booths, exciting entertainment and live music nightly, as well as limited time offerings and an exclusive array of merchandise to commemorate your visit.
It’s one of our most favorite times of the year to visit EPCOT and taste our way around the park while enjoying sampling flavors we couldn’t get anywhere else at Disney World. This year, the festival will run from August 28th through November 22nd so you’ll have plenty of time to get your festival fun in.
Although we’re just weeks away, there’s still lots we don’t know about this year’s festival yet. Disney has yet to release menu offerings for each festival booth and confirm each of the booth’s locations around the park. However, we have gotten a peek at a few things like who will be performing for this year’s concert lineup and a few confirmed menu offerings returning.
It’s sure to be an exciting time to visit, so be sure to make plans to visit EPCOT during the festival on your next Disney World vacation.
