We are less than a week away from TWO brand-new shows opening up at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. May 27th will be a big day for Hollywood Studios, as both Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure are making their debut!
We already got to experience the new Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After show. Now, Disney just shared some NEW photos of the new The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure show, and of course, we knew you needed to see them!
Disney shared a first look at The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure, and now we are getting even more excited to see the show in person. This show is replacing the old Little Mermaid show, Voyage of the Little Mermaid. The Voyage of the Little Mermaid has been closed ever since the pandemic, so we are ecstatic that the new show is finally taking its place!
Let’s take a look at these new photos shared by Disney! We are loving all the bright colors and getting to see some familiar faces. Look at all those fish!
We also got a look at the iconic boat scene with Prince Eric and Ariel.
Plus, we got a closer look of Ariel alongside Flounder and Sebastian.
Here’s a peek at Ursula. She is definitely looking very menacing.
We are loving the set designs, and we can’t wait to experience this brand-new show. Of course, we will be bringing you all along with us and letting you know our thoughts on the show.

You can watch The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure beginning May 27th in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Performances happen throughout the day, so make sure to check the My Disney Experience app for exact showtimes. You will find the show in the Animation Courtyard area of Hollywood Studios.
