We are officially celebrating the 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!

We tried every single booth at the festival and showed you all there is to see and do. There is one reason that this year’s event may be a bit confusing though and we’re here to warn you about it!
The 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival officially kicked off on August 29th, 2024 and runs through November 23rd, 2024. During the festival, you can eat your way through over 30 food booths, enjoy live entertainment during the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, go on a scavenger hunt, and so much more.

Before it began, we took a look at the FULL menus for this year’s festival, of course! The 2024 festival is introducing five new booths: Bramblewood Bites, Festival Favorites, Forest & Field, Macatizers, and Milled & Mulled. We are also missing two booths that were at the festival last year: Ireland and Kenya.

While we are excited to be getting lots of new booths this year, there is something that may leave returning guests a bit confused. A number of dishes have been moved around the festival menus.

First off, you will no longer find the Carrot Cake at the Flavors of America booth.

Instead, head over to Milled & Mulled for a freshly baked carrot cake with walnuts and cream cheese icing. This menu item has the addition of “walnuts” in the description, but we are thinking these two dishes will be very similar.Â

Next up, you will no longer be able to find the Boursin Fig & Balsamic Soufflé with fig tapenade that was served at Wine & Wedge in 2023.

However, you will be able to pick up a somewhat similar dish at Milled & Mulled. The dish you will be able to get this year is the Boursin Fig & Balsamic Cheesecake with fig jam and pomegranate. Not exactly the same, but it may satisfy if you are missing the soufflé.

Now moving on to some big movements. With the introduction of the Festival Favorites booth, there are numerous dishes that moved to this new booth. If you aren’t seeing one of your favorites, you may just be able to find it here.

Starting off with the Kielbasa and Potato Pierogis with caramelized onions and sour cream that were from Wine and Dine Featuring Festival Favorites in 2020.Â

You will also be able to find the BBQ Pork Rinds served with pimento cheese that is from The Swanky Saucy Swine in 2022.Â

Also, if you are already mourning the loss of the Ireland booth, you can find one of the items over at Festival Favorites. It has a slightly different name, but it seems to be very similar. You can get the Guinness Baileys Shake at Festival Favorites under the name Irish Milk Shake.

You can also grab a similar dish to the Chocolate Pudding Cake from the Ireland booth in 2023. It isn’t exactly the same, but you can grab the Freshly-baked Chocolate Pudding Cake with bourbon caramel from Flavors of America this year.Â

Even though there may be a lot of movement with the dishes for this year’s Food and Wine Festival, it is still sure to be a great time.
