Ah, EPCOT. It’s a vast Disney park. It’s got some amazing rides (looking at you, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind). It’s got incredible food. It even has a wide variety of characters, including the one and only Figment! There’s a lot to do here, and soon, something NEW will join the list.
Disney just shared some BIG news at the Disney Experiences Panel at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, and we can’t wait to tell you about it. Brace yourself — we’ve got an important announcement to share about the future of EPCOT.
Disney just announced that a new lounge inspired by Spaceship Earth will be coming to EPCOT in 2025. The new lounge will be inspired by the “stories, shapes, and enduring legacy” of Spaceship Earth. There will be lots of rich textures and warm metallic tones for a “mysterious and elegant intimacy.”
This lounge will be a zen place for families to gather and enjoy a variety of refreshments. You will find this lounge in the Spaceship Earth event space and it will look out over World Celebration. It will even feature a view of the fireworks!
This Spaceship Earth lounge will be joining the Pirates of the Caribbean themed lounge that will be opening in Magic Kingdom in 2025 as well. We can’t wait to check out these two new spaces!
