Grab your very best Tiana Disneybounding outfit folks, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is opening at Disneyland SOON!

This re-themed version of Splash Mountain has already opened out at Walt Disney World in Florida, but where does that leave all of our friends on the West Coast? Well, don’t worry, because Tiana and her friends will be going on a Mardi Gras adventure in Disneyland before you know it!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open at Disneyland Park on November 15th, 2024! The announcement was made during the Disney Experiences showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

We expect park reservations for that date will start to fill up quickly, so if you’re interested in being there on the attraction’s opening day, be sure to book your reservation ASAP.

Just what is Tiana’s Bayou Adventure? We’re glad you asked! This is a re-theme of the Splash Mountain attraction that once existed in Disneyland. The Tiana ride picks up after the events of The Princess and the Frog.
At this point in the story, Tiana has opened up her restaurant (it’s a success!) and she has been expanding her business to include Tiana’s Foods. This is a cooperative where Tiana and her employees work together to make special food products and also help the members of their local community.

To thank her community for their support, Tiana will be throwing a Mardi Gras party (and you’re invited!). But, as she’s getting ready, Tiana realizes an ingredient is missing. You’ll join her on an adventure to find that ingredient, and you’ll meet lots of friends along the way.

In terms of music, you’ll get to hear all kinds of original tunes, including an original song written by PJ Morton (who you might recognize from Maroon 5). You’ll also hear zydeco music and some special songs in the queue.

On the attraction, prepare to see an animatronic of Tiana with a new outfit.

Plus, keep those eyes open for a whole bunch of other animatronics and special friends (old and new), like Charlotte, Prince Naveen, Prince Naveen’s brother, Mama Odie, and MORE.

From the smell of beignets in the queue to a tiara-topped water tower, there will be a whole BUNCH of details to search for throughout this attraction.
