2 New Additions Are Coming to Disney World's OTHER Food & Wine Festival

You’re probably familiar with the International Food & Wine Festival at EPCOT.

It takes place each year, starting in mid-summer and lasting until right before Thanksgiving, and it draws in a LOT of visitors. But you may not know that Disney World has ANOTHER Food & Wine festival…one that’s returning again this year!

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts host the Food & Wine Classic each year, and it’s essentially a miniature version of an EPCOT festival. The main difference? Instead of paying at each booth, you purchase a pass to get unlimited food and taste away to your heart’s content.

This year, the Food & Wine Classic will take place on November 10th and 11th, and we’ve already gotten details about some of the food and drinks that will be offered during the event. But in addition to the typical offerings, there are two new additions this year.

The Fountain Booth Beef Slider from 2022

The Swan and Dolphin Resorts are introducing two new “immersive themed areas” for the event. The first space is called For the Love of Florida and will “brighten guests’ taste buds as it celebrates local cuisine and ingredients with flavors of the Sunshine State.” The menu includes the following:

Seminole Pumpkin Fry Bread with powdered sugar and warm pumpkin spice sauce
Grilled Florida Oysters with housemade kumquat hot sauce and shallot butter
Butter Poached Bay Scallops with Florida corn puree, charred scallion vinaigrette, radish threads, and shallot butter

The other themed area will be The Rosé Room, which will “transport guests to a tranquil garden party, complete with topiaries, roses and classical-style covers of modern-day hits.” Here you can pick up various selections of rosé surrounded by a pink color palette.
