SNEAK PEEK at a Major Update Coming to EPCOT!

EPCOT is changing in some BIG ways, particularly when it comes to the front of the park — World Celebration.

The front of the park will soon be home to CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza. CommuniCore Hall will be particularly exciting because it will become the “hub” for EPCOT’s festivals. It’ll have a demonstration kitchen, mixology bar, gallery space, new Mickey meet-and-greet, and more! And now Disney has shared a peek inside part of this new space.

Disney has previously shared concept art depictions of what the CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza areas will look like from above…

…and even some peeks at part of the inside. But now we’ve got something even better!

EPCOT Cast Members were able to get an exclusive FIRST LOOK at some new mural artwork that’ll be coming to the exterior of CommuniCore Hall. Images of this mural were shared on the Walt Disney World Cast and Community Facebook Page.

The new mural is very bright and colorful and features classic EPCOT pavilions, patterns, and designs.

Just take a look at that adorable Figment design! We know quite a few folks will be wanting to snap an endless stream of selfies in front of this mural when it becomes available.

Disney has indicated that World Celebration will be finished in EPCOT in late 2023, which should include these new spaces within World Celebration — CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza.

Again, as we mentioned above, CommuniCore Hall is meant to be a Festival hub. It’s the first “fully purpose-built structure in festival programming.”

CommuniCore Plaza is an outdoor space that’ll have the ability to host a giant concert on a stage or a more intimate performance. On top of that, World Celebration will be home to some gardens with seating and shade. Each garden is meant to have its own identity and the ability to amplify festival programming throughout the year.
