HEADS UP! Fantasmic! Showtimes CHANGE Next Week in Disney World

There’s a big change coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios soon and you need to be prepared!

Disney World is known to make changes to everything from menus to attractions but this is one change that could certainly throw your plans off if you’re not careful.

If you’re not already familiar with the nighttime shows at Disney then let’s give you a quick rundown of Fantasmic! This illuminating spectacular features Mickey Mouse and all the powers of his imagination along with some help from familiar faces.

While most of Mickey’s dreams are exciting and beautiful scenes from beloved films and characters there’s a select few that are waiting to seize an opportunity and control Mickey’s mind — looking at you Disney villains. Will Mickey find the courage to face his biggest foes and take back control over his dreams, or will evil reign supreme?

If you’re looking to live out Mickey’s wildest imaginations in show form with laser lights, spouting water features, fireworks, and your final opportunity to see a few characters before the park closing, then you’ll need to take note that the Fantasmic! showtime is CHANGING!

Through the summer Fantasmic has been performing nightly (weather permitting) at 9PM, however, starting August 6th, 2023 the show will be pushed back to start at 9:30PM.

This sounds like a great option for those looking to park hop and plan around events like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party nights. However, we also caution you to be aware that because most folks may be park-hopping INTO Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the show, even with the later showtime you’ll want to make sure you’re planning and allowing enough time to get in line and snag your seats because the amphitheater could fill up quickly.
