Are your travel plans bringing you to Disney World this summer or fall?

One thing you have to keep in mind when making your travel plans to Disney World is that it has a number of special ticketed events that happen every year like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. With that in mind, if you’re looking on going to Disney World this summer or fall, we have important planning information for you.
If you are planning on traveling to the Magic Kingdom this summer or fall, you need to know that there are a number of days on which the park will close early due to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The last thing we want you to feel is rushed or like you’re not getting the full value for your trip, so let’s go over what those dates are now so that you can plan accordingly!

This year, the Halloween party will take place on select nights from August through November. Here’s the full list of dates that the park will close early:
- August 11th, 15th, 18th, 22nd, 25th, and 29th
- September 1st, 4th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 22nd, 24th, 26th, 28th, and 29th
- October 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 9th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 22nd, 24th, 26th, 27th, 29th, and 31st
- November 1st

Disney has not released the park hours for these dates as of the writing of this post, however, the party starts at 7PM so it’s likely that’s when the park will close to regular visitors.
If you are planning on going to Magic Kingdom on one of these days and you are NOT going to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, we recommend either park hopping or changing your plans so that you can have a full day in the park. Those tickets are not cheap and we want you to get the most bang for your buck!

If you are interested in attending the Halloween party, ticket prices are still in the same range as last year: from $109 to 199 for adults and from $99 to $189 for children and guests with a Halloween Party ticket will be able to enter the park starting at 4PM to enjoy Magic Kingdom before the party starts.

Again, if you’re keen on going to the Halloween party, be sure to grab tickets ASAP! In the meantime, we’ll keep you updated will all the latest on the Halloween party and more Disney news!

I changed two dates for my trip in October so I am not in MK when the Halloween party is going on
I don’t know why Disney only shows the park hours two months in advance.
