“it’s a small world” Is the STAR of This Disney World Gingerbread Display

Can you believe we’re getting close to the winter holidays?

It feels like just yesterday we were sweating in Florida’s summer sun and eating around EPCOT on the first day of the Food & Wine Festival! But now it’s time to switch gears to the holiday season — decorations are already going up at the parks and some of the most iconic decorations just arrived at a popular Disney World hotel!

We’re at Disney’s Contemporary Resort where the gingerbread display is now in progress! At this hotel, you’ll find the Gingerbread Castle!

We've jumped over to Disney's Contemporary Resort and are checking out the construction for their gingerbread house!!

We’ve seen both Cinderella characters and Frozen characters in front of the castle before, and this year the theme appears to be based on the classic Magic Kingdom attraction, “it’s a small world.”

Cast Members let us know that it would also light up!

It’s set on a fun stage design too, with elements of “it’s a small world” details.

There are so many things to do this holiday season including Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, and even to go on a holiday sleigh ride! You can also check out other holiday gingerbread displays at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Disney’s Beach Club!
