Listen, we’ve had our fair share of crowded days in Disney World…and THEN some!
We’ve seen the parks on major holidays, during Spring Break, and we even battled the masses to be in Magic Kingdom on the 50th Anniversary. We know how stressful it can be to visit a busy park, so we like to give our readers warnings when those crowd levels start to rise again…and today, we’re issuing a warning!
This morning when we arrived at the Transportation & Ticket Center to park before going into Magic Kingdom, we were met with a pretty shocking sight. The security line was backed up all the way to the parking lot!
Just look at that — this is how you know it’s going to be a busy day!
It wasn’t much lighter once we made it to the Magic Kingdom entrance, and Main Street, U.S.A. was pretty challenging to navigate with those early morning crowds.
Later in the morning, things started to spread out a bit. As guests dispersed through the park to enjoy rides, the walkways weren’t quite as shoulder-to-shoulder.
However, the wait times don’t exactly reflect the crowds that we saw this morning! When checking the My Disney Experience app to look at wait times, they were fluctuating throughout the day. Some of the most popular rides were hanging out with hour-long lines, but others jumped back and forth, staying under 45 minutes. (That may seem like a long time to wait, but it’s still shorter than what we were seeing a few weeks ago for Spring Break!)
And for those using Genie+, when we checked the Tip Board around 1PM, most rides were still available for booking throughout the day. Some of the more popular options (like Jungle Cruise) weren’t available until late evening.
We’ll keep you updated if we spot any more heavy crowds in Disney World soon! Stay tuned to AllEars for the latest news and updates from the parks!
