There is ONE thing and one thing only that we’re excited about in Disney World right now…
…Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! Okay, that’s a lie, we’re excited about other things too, like the Connections Cafe & Eatery and the upcoming (eventually!) Tron coaster, but Cosmic Rewind seems to be the most tangible thing to get excited about right now. We’ve seen ride footage and we’ve been able to watch construction progress along the way, and now, it’s getting even closer to the grand opening!
Today, we hopped on the EPCOT monorail to check out the construction progress over at Cosmic Rewind, and we were NOT disappointed with what we found. There were several construction workers out in front of the building working on some major updates.
First of all, some people were working on the Nova Corps Starblaster Ship. And all around the ship, we spotted new shrubbery in the planters to add some extra ambiance.
At the ride’s entrance, there was also quite a bit of work happening. Here, the MagicBand/MagicMobile scanners look to finally be in place, and we noticed that the wait time and Lightning Lane signage were getting uncovered as well.
We can’t wait to get more details on this new ride as the opening date finally approaches!
