Disney is Filming Some 50th Anniversary Content in the Magic Kingdom!

It seems like the Disney cast and crew were hard at work this morning! With only 20 days left until the 50th Anniversary in Disney World, new decorations, colorful paint jobs, and sparkly banners are popping up all over the parks.

Now, you can’t have “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” without a little promotion, and it seems like we spotted some filming, and a familiar face, in the Magic Kingdom today!

While we were strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., we noticed some unusual activity over on the hub grass — you don’t typically see boom mics by the castle, after all!

As we got a little closer, we saw a whole team of Cast Members hard at work trying to get the perfect shot!

The Cinderella Castle makes the perfect backdrop for just about any photo or video — especially if you’re filming something for an upcoming anniversary. We were told that this was some promotional filming for Disney World’s 50th anniversary.

We also saw a pretty important Cast Member — do you recognize the man in the suit? It’s Josh D’Amaro, who is the Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. (In other words, he’s a pretty big deal)

It was so nice to see D’Amaro take the time to say hello to guests!
