The 2021 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival kicks off today and we are ready to check out all the new (and returning) eats and drinks and explore all the activities and entertainment!

Last year Disney hosted a Taste of the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, but now the full festival is BACK with tons of spots to stop and grab a bite around World Showcase, new merchandise, and live entertainment. We can’t wait to check it all out and we’re taking you along with us — so let’s get to it!
Let’s take a look at this year’s Food & Wine Festival!
When we first arrived at EPCOT this morning, we were heading in with all of the other festival-goers — and there were a lot! Crowds stretched all the way from the parking lot at the front of the park…

…to the back entrance to World Showcase from Disney’s BoardWalk…

…and up to the gate — all before 10:30AM (and the park opens at 11AM)!

Once we were finally in EPCOT, we got to check out all the new photo ops and decorations that have arrived for the event! The main entrance area has quite a few new things to see including…

…the 2021 festival logo…

…and Emile looking exactly how we will once we get to all the food!

And, the decorations even extend into World Showcase!

EPCOT Food & Wine Food Booths
Our first stop of the morning was the Joffrey’s kiosk in Canada! Now, this spot isn’t an official Food & Wine Festival booth so you may not get a stamp on your passport, but you can still find a specialty drink for the occasion!

Here you can order up the Tropical Tea Breeze which is an Iced Tea and Frozen Lemon with a splash of Coconut Syrup for $6.39.

The drink on the menu is non-alcoholic, but you can opt for a “spirited version” that will add some booze to the drink. Just keep in mind that it will cost you a bit more ($12.99).

Plus, another Joffrey’s location has a different specialty drink — and it’s even more caffeinated! The Joffrey’s in Future World is serving up a Cocoa Cold Brew that is made with Kona Mocha topped with Whipped Cream and drizzled with chocolate for $6.39.

Of course, you can also spice up this drink with some booze, it’ll just cost you $12.99.

And, Joffrey’s isn’t done yet! You can also find a specialty drink at the American Adventure Joffrey’s location!

The new Cinnamon Chai is a Refreshing Iced Chai topped with Whipped Cream and Cinnamon for $6.39.

But, you won’t be able to add booze to this one!

Our next stop around World Showcase was Shimmering Sips which focuses on one of the most popular meals of the day — brunch!

The menu is filled with some sweet treats to start off your day and, of course, there are mimosas.

Here you can find a Shimmering Strawberry Soft-serve in a Waffle Cone and Banana Bread with Mixed Berry Compote (which is a plant-based option) and THREE different mimosa flavors.
For drinks, you can order up a Tropical Mimosa with Sparkling Wine and Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava Juices, a Key Lime Mimosa with Key Lime Sparkling Wine and Cranberry Juice, or a Blood Orange Mimosa with Sparkling Wine and Blood Orange Juice separately or in a flight.

But the newest menu item is the CORKCICLE Stemless Flute, which you can have any of the mimosas served in.

Our next stop was the Australia booth, which is returning to the festival this year.

Here you’ll find some popular Australian dishes that are all gluten/wheat friendly like…

…the Grilled Sweet and Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp with Pineapple, Pepper, Onion, and Snap Peas…

…the Roasted Lamb Chop with Sweet Potato Purée, Bush Berry Pea Salad, and Pistachio-Pomegranate Gremolata…

…and the Deconstructed Pavlova with Pastry Cream, Citrus-macerated Berries, and Lemon Myrtle Meringue.

Plus there’s a big beverage selection that features THREE new wines including the Coopers Brewery Original Pale Ale, the Cape Mentelle Sauvignon Blanc Semillon (new), the Robert Oatley Chardonnay (new), and the Château Tanunda Grand Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon (new).

Of course, we also had to stop by Refreshment Port, where we’ve found some of our favorite eats at past festivals.

This year, the booth features TWO new menu items and the returning Maple Boursin Cheesecake with Whipped Boursin Maple Bourbon Cheese and Candied Pecans.

The new food option is the Braised Beef Poutine which is made with French Fries, Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese Sauce, Cheese Curds, and Gherkin Relish…

The next stop around World Showcase is Canada, which is a long-time booth at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival.

We can almost always guarantee that the menu will remain unchanged from year to year, and that’s (mostly) the case for 2021!

You can once again find the Canadian Cheddar and Bacon Soup served with a Pretzel Roll and the “Le Cellier” Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon with Truffle-Butter Sauce (which is gluten/wheat friendly).

And, two NEW items have arrived on the beverage menu including the Collective Arts Audio/Visual Lager, Hamilton, Ontario, and the Château des Charmes Cabernet-Merlot Old Vines.
Tucked away in the Canada Pavilion, we headed to the Appleseed Orchard booth next!

This booth is located inside the Canada Far & Wide theater, so there’s a bit more space to spread out inside.

The menu here includes a NEW Apple Crumble Tart and Apple Chips (which weren’t available yet when we visited).

Plus, there are SEVEN new drinks including a Cinnamon Apple Cider (which is non-alcoholic)…

…or you can order up the Cider Flight that features three of the new ciders including the Collective Arts Brewing Circling the Sun Hard Cider, the Original Sin Hard Cider McIntosh, and Blake’s Hard Cider Co. Saint Chéri Bourbon Barrel Aged Cherry.

And, the new beer selections include the Big Storm Brewing Co. Apple Blonde Ale, the 3 Daughters Brewing Apple Pecan Brown Ale, and the Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company Apple-y Ever After Green Apple Sour Ale.

Next on our trip around World Showcase was the NEW BOOTH Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina!

This booth has replaced the former Morocco booth but still serves up some traditional Moroccan cuisine.

The menu features THREE different Grilled Kebabs with Couscous, Tomato-Onion Salad, and Garlic Aïoli including one with Lemon-Garlic Chicken, one with Moroccan Spiced Lamb, and one with Harissa-marinated Beef Tenderloin Tips.

…Stone-baked Moroccan Bread with Hummus, Zaalouk, and Zhoug Dips…

…and Pistachio Cake with Cinnamon Pastry Cream and Candied Walnuts.

Plus, there are more new drinks like the Fresh Orange Juice and the Fresh Blood Orange Juice (which are both non-alcoholic) and the boozy option is the Fig Cocktail with White-Cranberry Juice and Fig Vodka.

And, there are also three ciders including the 3 Daughters Brewing Fig Hard Cider, Bold Rock Ginger Turmeric Hard Cider, and Woodchuck Cinnamon Nutmeg Hard Cider which are all included in the Cider Flight.

Now for some more tropical eats at the Hawai’i Booth!

Here you can find savory and sweet island favorites and some even have a new twist this year!

You can normally find a poke dish here and this year it has returned in a NEW way! This year’s Tuna Poke is made with Eel Sauce, Spicy Mayonnaise, and Crispy Shrimp Chips.

And, if you’re trying to complete Emile’s Fromage Montage, you’ll be stopping here for the Passion Fruit Cheesecake with Toasted Macadamia Nuts.

There’s also a limited selection of drinks including a new Kona Brewing Co. Hanalei Island IPA…

…and the AULANI Sunrise which has Vodka, DOLEPineapple Juice, and Grenadine (and is a returning favorite).

Here’s another look at all the Hawai’i eats!

This booth has been found at the Disneyland Food & Wine Festival in the past and now it’s over on the east coast!

The new menu includes tons of chicken wing flavors including Garlic-Parmesan Wings with Celery and Ranch (which is gluten/wheat friendly)…

…Barbecue Wings with Celery and Ranch (which is also gluten/wheat friendly)…

…Teriyaki-Sesame Wings with Celery and Ranch…

….Traditional Buffalo Wings with Celery and Ranch (which is gluten/wheat friendly)…

…and Mango-Habanero Wings with Celery and Ranch (which is gluten/wheat friendly).

Another new festival booth this year is The Noodle Exchange, which can be found on the path between Future World West and World Showcase.

All of the eats and drinks are inspired by the Far East, and they’re all brand new so we had to give them a try!

In terms of dishes, there is the Traditional Spicy Vietnamese Beef Pho with Shaved Beef, Enoki Mushrooms, and Thai Basil (which is gluten/wheat friendly)…

…the Char Siu Pork Udon with Enoki Mushrooms, Bok Choy, and Soy Pickled Egg…

…the Shrimp and Coconut Curry Rice Noodles with Shiitake Mushrooms and Thai Basil (which is gluten/wheat friendly)…

…and the Tofu Pho with Enoki Mushrooms and Thai Basil (which is gluten/wheat friendly AND plant-based). And, for drinks, the menu is a bit more limited with a Playalinda Brewing Company Yaupon Brothers Green Tea Pale Ale and the A to Z Riesling.
Next door to The Noodle Exchange is the returning Earth Eats booth.

This spot is hosted by Impossible and features only plant-based options.

So, you can try things like the Impossible Three-Bean Chili (which is gluten/wheat friendly AND plant-based)…

…or opt for a drink like the Spiced Apple Twinings of London Chai Tea with Whiskey.

Next up was the Mexico Booth, which is another returning fan-favorite.

The menu has received a pretty huge overhaul, though there are some familiarities to former menus at this spot.

For example, it’s not our first time seeing Chilaquiles here, but the Chilaquiles con Chorizo is a new twist on the dish. It’s made with Crispy Corn Tortillas tossed in Salsa Verde and Monterey Jack Cheese topped with Crema Mexicana, Queso Cotija, Pickled Onions, and Ground Chorizo.

We’ve also seen a version of the Taco de Ribeye on the menu before, but now it is made with Shaved Ribeye, Red Onions, and Poblano Peppers on a Corn Tortilla with Ranchera Salsa, Cotija Cheese, and Chives.

And, even if you’re skipping the food on the menu, you’ll want to try some of the specialty drinks including the new El Tigre Margarita, which is Ojo de Tigre Mezcal with Pomegranate, Prickly Pear, Pineapple, and Ginger Juices served on the rocks with a Hibiscus Salt Rim…

…the La Clásica Reyes Margarita, which has Centinela Blanco Tequila, Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, Abasolo Corn Whiskey, Lime Juice, and Agave Nectar served on the rocks with a Chile Piquín Salt Rim…

…the White Passion Fruit Sangria, which is made with White Wine, Chinola Passion Fruit Liqueur, and a hint of Ilegal Mezcal…

…and the Mexican Craft Beer, which is a Tulum Artisanal Lager crafted with Citrus notes and made with Mexican Caribbean Seawater.

And, located close by is the NEW BOOTH — The Swanky Saucy Swine!

Disney described this booth as featuring some “tantalizing pork dishes” so we were pretty excited to give it a try!

All of the eats are completely brand new, so you can try out the Roasted Porchetta with Pork-fat Roasted Rosemary Potatoes and Lemon-Parsley Salsa Verde (which is gluten/wheat friendly)…

…the Soy-glazed Sticky Ribs with Green Onions and Peanuts…

…the Crispy Pig Ear Salad with Fire Roasted Tomatillo Sauce, Pickled Red Onions, Queso Fresco, Roasted Corn Salsa, and Avocado Cream (which is gluten/wheat friendly)…

Plus, there are some new drinks including the Bourbon Bloody Mary that is made with Labrot & Graham Woodford Reserve Bourbon Whiskey and comes in a plastic souvenir cup with a straw.

Next up was the Greece booth which is located near the Morocco Pavilion.

The menu here isn’t too extensive, but you can still find some new eats and drinks!

For food, you can order up the returning Spanakopita, which is greek spinach pie…

…or try the new Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey, which is part of Emile’s Fromage Montage… (Emile’s Fromage Montage; returning)…

…and there’s also a new Lamb Moussaka.

And, if you’re looking for something a bit boozier, there are THREE new wines at the booth including the Mylonas Assyrtiko White Wine, the Skouras Zoe Rosé, and the Kir-Yianni Naoussa Xinomavro Dry Red.

Just after the Greece booth, we stopped at the Japan Booth.

There are only a few new menu items here, but plenty of others are returning!

Here you’ll find the Tempura Shrimp Sando which is Crunchy Shrimp served with Yuzu Crab, Green Onions, and Eel Sauce served on a Bun…

…and Spicy Hako Sushi, which is a Spicy Tuna and Salmon served Box-style with Red Tempura Crunch and Volcano Sauce.

Plus, we also tried one of the newest drinks — the Kochi Lemon Drop, which is made with Vodka, Yuzu, and Lemon Juice and then garnished with a Lemon Jelly.

Just look at that spread!

There are only a few new items at this location, but that doesn’t make it a spot you should skip!

We picked up the NEW Hot Beef Sandwich with Horseradish Cream and Pickled Vegetables…

…and also tried the Bold Rock Roast Coffee Hard Cider (which is also new)…

…and the Beer Flight, which includes the 81Bay Brewing Co. Strawberry and Lime, the SweetWater Brewing Company Hazy IPA, and the Lord Hobo Brewing Boom Sauce DIPA, that are all new to the menu.

And, then we headed over to the Funnel Cake Stand where there is ONE specialty item for the festival this year.

It’s the new Mini Candied Bacon S’mores Funnel Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream on top!

Close by is also the NEW booth — Rotunda Bistro!

For the first time, Disney has brought a booth inside the American Adventure Rotunda and you can find dishes like the Chilled Smoked Shrimp Salad (which is gluten/wheat friendly)…

…the Wild Mushroom and Truffle Tart with Gruyère and Crème Fraîche…

…and the Chilled Crab and Avocado Parfait with Caviar (which is gluten/wheat friendly).

We also stopped for something sweet from The Donut Box, which is another returning booth to the festival.

And, if you’re a fan of donuts, then this is the stop for you!

There are FOUR wildly flavored new donuts to choose from including the Candy Jar Donut made with M&M’S, SNICKERS, and TWIX…

…the Crispy Chicken on a Sriracha-glazed Donut (which you can also get without the crispy chicken)…

…the Chef’s Donut of the Day, which was a Blueberry Lemon Donut.

Plus, we found a BONUS donut here for the day — the Cherry and Chocolate Donut!

Close by you can also find the Flavors from Fire Booth.

This spot is hosted by The NFL on ESPN and you can find some classic game day eats!

We tried the Corned Beef Corner Route which is Smoked Corned Beef with Crispy Potatoes, Cheese Curds, Pickled Onions, and Beer-Cheese Fondue (which is part of Emile’s Fromage Montage)…

…and the NEW Saugatuck Brewing Company Bonfire Beer.

Another returning booth this year is China and there was a long line to try some of the eats and drinks when we stopped by.

And, like some other booths, you’ll find some returning favorites that have a NEW twist!

The newest menu item is the ZiRan Beef Bao Bun which features Grilled Beef with Cumin…

…and the Crispy-fried Pepper Shrimp with Spicy Sichuan Noodles is a returning menu item…

…along with the Pan-fried Chicken Dumplings with House-made Sweet and Spicy Sauce.

There are also a few drinks to choose from including the Dragonfly, which is made with Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila, Absolut Vodka, Orange Juice, and Mango Syrup.

The Spicy Githeri with White Beans, Pigeon Peas, Ben’s Original Quinoa & Ancient Grains Medley, and Kachumbari Slaw (which is plant-based) used to be found at the Kenya booth during the Food & Wine Festival, but it has found a new home this year…
