PHOTOS! Can You Spot the Difference on These Popular Disney Items?

There are a lot of Disney souvenirs to choose from when you’re visiting Walt Disney World with kids.

One of the more popular items on a kid’s wish list is a Disney princess costume. After all, it is hard to resist wanting to dress up like a princess and run around Magic Kingdom — the parks are basically made for it! And, now all those old princess costumes are outdated because Disney has introduced an updated look to many of the costumes!

Today we stopped into Sir Mickey’s while we were making our way through Magic Kingdom and noticed that the Princess costumes were looking a bit different. And, a Cast Member confirmed that they just released new costumes!

The princess costumes now feature a new design and broach that give them a new royal look! To compare, here are the new details on the Ariel costume…

…and here’s the old one!

Now you can find updated dresses for Belle…

…and even Mulan! 

Plus, there are also new dresses if you’re hoping to run around the parks looking like Rapunzel…

…or Cinderella…

…or Princess Jasmine! You’ll find the details added to the skirt on some dresses and the top on others.

Princess Tiana’s dress also got an updated look…

…in addition to the Snow White costume! You’ll still find the cape attached to Snow White’s costume too, it’ll just have the updated design and broach on the front.

And, the last two princess costumes to undergo a design change is Tinker Bell… 

…and Princess Aurora (aka Sleeping Beauty).

Now you can find all of these dresses in Sir Mickey’s and select shops around Walt Disney World. Each costume is available for $59.99 and who knows, maybe we’ll see some sales on the old dresses in the near future!
