We’re at EPCOT today checking out the first day of the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! We’re hopping from booth to booth checking out some of the latest and greatest festival offerings.
If you’re visiting the festival this year, you may want to participate in the food stroll known as Garden Graze, returning this year! Garden Graze gives guests the opportunity to sample a select number of dishes from five booths around the festival. Think of it as a curated way to try some of the dishes that make the Flower & Garden Festival truly unique.
If you’ve tried the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts or the Cookie Stroll at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, then you’re probably familiar with the setup of the Garden Graze food stroll.
It’s important to point out that ALL five dishes you eat along the way by taking part in Garden Graze are plant-based! The first dish is the Potato Pancakes with House-made Apple Sauce at Bauermarkt: Farmer’s Market for $4.50.
The next dish is the Grilled Baby Vegetables with Hummus Cream and Red Pepper Coulis at Flavor Full Kitchen for $4.75.
The third dish is the Lemon Magdalena Cake with Fig Compote and Sangria Gel from Taste of Marrakesh for $4.75.
The fourth dish is Boneless Impossible Korean Short Rib with Cilantro-Lime Rice, Danmuji Slaw, and Kimchee Mayonnaise from Trowel & Trellis for $6.75.
The final dish you’ll try by participating in Garden Graze is the Pineapple Skewer with Tajin Seasoning at Refreshment Outpost for $4.75.
Once you complete the “graze,” bring your passbook to Pineapple Promenade to redeem your prize!
What is the prize, you may ask? It’s actually TWO prizes:Â Mango Limeade Dole Whip served in a souvenir cup along with a packet of Purple Dark Opal Basil seeds!
In the end, it’s up to you if you think spending the cash on all these food items is worth getting the Mango Limeade Dole Whip prize at the end of the tunnel! If you think you’ll enjoy all of these dishes, then go for it! Otherwise, you may want to just purchase the Dole Whip from Pineapple Promenade and spend your Festival dollars on other menu items!
The 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival runs through July 5th, giving you a whopping four months to check out the food booths, topiaries, and entertainment, as well as check out Garden Graze!
