The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is a resort experience coming soon to Disney World!

The resort will be less like a hotel and more like an immersive (almost cruise-like) experience. Guests will “board” the starcruiser and embark on an interactive journey with challenges and collaborations with their travel group. The resort is currently under construction and we’ve been keeping tabs on the progress!
The hotel will transport guests through an immersive path directly into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge into Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We got a glimpse of the path’s construction and now have a few more updates thanks to @bioreconstruct! This is an aerial view of the docking port where shuttles between Batuu and the hotel will pick up guests. The following tweet shows the progress of the surrounding roads nearby.
Aerial look at roads near Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser (hotel). The bridged road at center used to be the guest entrance to DHS parking; now cast parking entrance. The berm at right used to be an overpass with theming and billboards facing guests entering DHS parking. pic.twitter.com/xsbeV63ies

A new berm was added surrounding the resort. @bioreconstruct speculates new plants and trees are being added here to mask the outside world during the guest’s journey to Batuu.

Currently, the opening date is set for some time in 2021. No official date has been released yet but we’re keeping a close watch on any news regarding the new experience!
