With everything happening all over the world this year, can you blame us for wanting to vacation on another planet? Or…another galaxy?
Fortunately, we’ve got some exciting construction updates to report out of Disney World that hint we’re getting closer to making that a reality (well, sorta)!
The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is one of the most anticipated — and revolutionary — resorts in Disney history.
Ever since it was first announced, we’ve feverishly been following construction updates like breadcrumbs, eagerly awaiting the day when we can finally set foot inside the out-of-this-world hotel!
While much of the resort is still shrouded in secrecy, we’re starting to get a clearer picture of what some of the features are going to look like and where they’ll be, thanks to an intrepid Twitter update from @bioreconstruct.

As you can see from these aerial shots, window placements clue us in to where guests will be able to peer out into “space.” We’re also getting a glimpse at where shuttles could transport resort guests directly into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge via shuttle!

All that dirt you see? It’s gonna be an immersive forest to hide everything else from view and make guests feel like they’re literally in a galaxy far far away!
