Recently, it feel like everywhere we turn, there’s so much Disney construction happening all over the parks and resorts.
And, each time we see progress on a new project, we get even more excited for the finished product coming soon! Although Disney has begun to refurbish one of the most popular pools on property and put new design elements in place for EPCOT’s Harmonious, there’s also an entire Star Wars resort in the works right next to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
When the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser opens for “voyages”, guests will be able to enter their own Rebel story or Dark Side alliance during the fully inclusive and interactive experience. While we’ve been keeping an eye on the construction as it continues moving forward, @bioreconstruct gave us an aerial view of the additional progress on the resort!

Walkways to the entryway have started to be paved, along with the “cabins,” restaurants, and other features of the Galactic Starcruiser.

In case a Star Wars hotel doesn’t sell you enough, the 2-day and 2-night adventure will allow guests to craft their own personalized experience with an excursion to Batuu. While the resort originally planned to debut in 2021, there hasn’t been too much of an update regarding the grand opening in Disney World.

However, the Galactic Starcruiser is a prioritized project for Disney right now as they continue to push forward with the construction. As more attractions and experiences make their way into Disney World, we’ll take you with us to check out all the new and exciting things around the property!

I don’t see much parking for Cast Members nor guests. I wonder if guests will be “transported” to the StarCruiser from some other location.
