Cruise lines have already started preparing for reopening by putting new health and safety measures in place, including the requirement for testing prior to boarding ships.

However, as the CDC has continued to extend its No Sail Order through the end of October, many departures have been canceled during this time.
While the Disney Cruise Line has suspended its departures through mid-December, Royal Caribbean has also announced that its global sailings will be halted through November 30th with some exceptions. The Cruise with Confidence policy has also been extended for sailings created by November 30th that depart on or before April 30th, 2022.

Royal Caribbean has stated that it aims to resume its cruising operations on December 1st. However, there are multiple sailings that have been canceled well into the end of 2020 and through next year.

At this time, departures from Australia have been halted through December 31st, while sailings on the Odyssey of the Seas and Quantum of the Seas have been suspended through next year. The Jewel of the Seas cruise on February 14th, 2021 has also been canceled as the Liberty of the Seas returns to Galveston during its postponed redesign.

As Royal Caribbean, Disney Cruise Line, and other parts of the cruise industry release more details about sailings, we’ll keep you updated with everything you need to know!
