These Six Disney Springs Restaurants Have One Insanely Awesome Thing in Common

If you’ve been to Disney Springs, odds are you’ve chowed down on a pretty delicious meal. And the choice of where to eat probably wasn’t easy! There are a lot of really stellar restaurants in this complex, but there are six that have a pretty unique honor in common.

All of these spots are run by James Beard Award-winning chefs!

The James Beard Awards are accolades given to celebrate exceptional chefs, restaurateurs, and more from regions throughout the United States!

Here are the SIX Disney Springs restaurants that are owned by James Beard Award-winning chefs!

1. Frontera Cocina

Frontera Cocina has some seriously amazing Mexican food. It’s no wonder it comes from Chef Rick Bayless, seven-time (wow) winner of the James Beard Awards and the original Top Chef Master.

2. Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’

Looking for some good Southern cooking? Look no further than the absolutely delicious Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’. The cuisine is comforting, sophisticated, and developed by a two-time James Beard winner.

3. Terralina Crafted Italian

For some tasty Italian dishes, swing over to Terralina Crafted Italian to taste the work of Tony Mantuano. His skills netted him a James Beard award, too!

4. Morimoto Asia

Anyone who’s watched Iron Chef America on the Food Network knows the name Masaharu Morimoto. This guy is a legendary chef who has won the award as well! You can see what makes him so good at Morimoto Asia or Morimoto Street Food, his Quick Service concept adjacent to the restaurant proper.

5. Jaleo

We love a night out at Jaleo to try some contemporary Spanish cuisine. It certainly helps to make the food delicious that the mind behind it all James Beard-winning Jose Andres! (Bonus: Andres has also been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize!)

6. Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill

Last but certainly not least is a spot owned by a celebrity chef that you’ve probably heard of. Yes, Wolfgang Puck does have his very own James Beard Award, and you can try his cuisine over at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill or Wolfgang Puck Express!
