Disney Springs' Wine Bar George Using Digital Menus and Check In System Upon Reopening

Disney Springs is set to begin the first part of its phased reopening tomorrow, May 20th. Starting then, a variety of third-party restaurants and retail store locations will be reopening along with the shopping and dining complex.

One of the first restaurants to announce their reopening was Wine Bar George, and ahead of their reopening, they have released some of the precautionary measures they will be taking starting tomorrow.

Prior to your reservation at Wine Bar George, you can expect a text message from the restaurant confirming that you will be coming the following day.

Also in this message, the restaurant outlines some of the procedures you can expect. One of these is the use of a digital menu. The way this works is that you open up your cell phone camera, pointing it at a QR code that will pull up the menu. Alternatively, you can click on a direct link provided below the QR code.

Another change to expect is a digital check in system for the restaurant. When you arrive at Disney Springs, whether parking in the garage or by ride share program, they ask that you text the number provided to let them know. Upon arrival at the restaurant, they request you text again to be seated.
