Check Out the Progress So Far on the Cinderella Castle Refurb in Disney World!

Just like Cinderella in her namesake film, Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle is getting a magical (and surprisingly quick) makeover!

We stopped by Magic Kingdom today to check out the progress so far!

Earlier this week we noted that several cranes had gone up around the castle and that workers were bustling away to paint the turrets in their new royal blue hue.

Well, much progress has been made! We have to say, they’re working just as quickly as Cindy’s mice did when they made her pink ballgown. Now, many of the castle turrets are the updated blue color.

You can also spot a glimpse of the light pink that is set to cover the body of the castle.

While not all of the turrets have been painted so far, we’re impressed with how quickly progress has been made!

It looks really pretty in person and we think the finished product will be as photogenic as always.
