Walt Disney loved trains so much he built a railroad in his backyard people could ride on. When he designed Disneyland and later the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, he put a railroad in both parks.

As of this writing, the Magic Kingdom Railroad is not running because of construction on the TRON attraction next to Space Mountain. I do hope when the construction is finished, the pathway where I took this photo will still be there. The Engineers loved to put on a show for anyone watching or photographing them as they passed by.
While the Railroad is closed, guests can still find a train is parked on the platform at the Main Street Station for photos.
