Tried the lunch and got the chicken and rice. I was pleased with the flavor and especially the rice which was good quality. It has similar menu options to “Panda Express” but felt like a step up in terms of taste and quality. The price was high, however, and the portions were small. All in all, a pretty good theme park lunch. I would eat here again but certainly won’t be thinking about it all year in anticipation of my next trip.
Pros:
Wide menu, tasty food, and plenty of shaded seatingCons:
Expensive and small portionsReviewed by ShelbySchroepfer90 Review Date: 07/18/2024

I have had both breakfast and lunch menu and have enjoyed both. There is a lot to choose from, with items for picky members as well as some chinese-ish dishes for a more unique taste. The breakfast is simple but good, the tator tots are very much like burger king which I love.
Pros:
large menu, lots of variety, safe optionsCons:
no indoor seating, not a ton of shaded seating eitherReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 11/14/2023

Ordered a cheeseburger from the kids menu for my 9 year old. Three quarters of the way through, she said it tasted too bad to eat any more and asked if it was supposed to look pink like that. To my shock, it was a completely raw (cold, gooey, sticky, wet raw). SO disgusting. There were barely any customers there at the time, so it can't be blamed on a rush. I brought it up to the counter and they were completely unphased, like this happens all the time and they cooked a new one which we tasted, but nobody ate because it was just not good. All the food was overpriced and not good at all. I was told at Animal Kingdom Guest Relations that this restaurant is owned by Rainforest Cafe, and they helped me file a complaint. I took photos. I recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs. I am really worried that my child is going to have food poisoning.
Pros:
Nothing. All the dishes were overpriced and barely edible. The chicken salad was ok.Cons:
Serving raw hamburger to children. Overpriced, barely edible and inedible foods.Reviewed by FtWildernesscamper Review Date: 10/16/2023

Great place to stop and have a quick snack. I haven't eaten a meal here but have stopped by to sit down for a few minutes and have a couple of eggrolls or fried rice and a cold beverage. Its great when the side window is open so you don't have to wait in the regular line for a cold beer (and you can get eggrolls there too). The theming of the seating area is cool also, with the fountain in the center and overall asian vibe.
Pros:
Quick snacks that isn't typical theme park fare, great vibes and the lines aren't usually too long.Cons:
Limited shade in the seating area. Most seats are in the sun and like the rest of AK, there isn't much of a breezeReviewed by AmyKCL Review Date: 08/06/2022

We're a family of four with two adventurous eaters (adults) and two picky eaters (kids). We ate breakfast at Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafe in July 2022. We stopped here to grab a quick bite on our 2nd day in Animal Kingdom. My husband and I each ordered egg and sausage breakfast sandwiches, and our kids ate the hash browns that came as the sides. It was good, tasty; it met our need in the moment. The seating area was fine and plentiful first thing in the morning. Like all space in Animal Kingdom, is was evident that great care was taken with the theming, and my husband enjoyed all the hiking/camping memorabilia that decorated the space.
Pros:
Not crowded for breakfast ThemingCons:

We actually prefer to eat here instead of in the Yak & Yeti sit down restaurant. Especially since our kids are older than 9 now but are very picky eaters. So they can still get something off of the "kids" menu that they will actually eat. We've had many dishes from this quick service and all have been very good.
Pros:
Good variety that even a picky eater will likeCons:

I love that yak and yeti offers breakfast!!! Animal kingdom opens the earliest and has very little options for breakfast. I had the sausage scramble bowl and it was good!
Pros:
BreakfastCons:
Not a lot of adventurous optionsReviewed by WavyBlue Review Date: 10/04/2021

We got Lettuce cups to share and the coconut shrimp as a side, it was ok. We were a party of 7, everybody liked what they ordered, but it didn't live up to all the hype. It is just "pretty good". I don't think I would go out of my way to go back, I would try another restaurant.
Pros:
Service was goodCons:

I was really looking forward to lunch, but found out breakfast only at 10:30 am. The breakfast bowls were good, but not fantastic. It was disappointing.

This is my favorite spot to grab a quick lunch in Animal Kingdom. Everything I've tried on both breakfast/lunch and dinner menus has not let me down. It's a fantastic place for Asian fusion type food and is always delicious and filling. I even prefer it to Satulii Canteen offerings and find that the menu offerings here truly has something for everyone.
