We ate lunch here in June 2023. We’d never eaten here before and weren’t sure what to expect, but we were impressed! Everyone in our group of 7 said it was excellent. When I made the reservations 60 days in advance, there was no availability for 7, so we made two reservations—one for 4 and one for 3–but they were still able to seat our whole group together. We were seated on the second floor, in a nicely themed room with glorious air conditioning! Service was excellent—we had no complaints. We ordered the miso salmon, teriyaki chicken, chicken tikka masala, Dan Dan noodles and Korean surf and turf. They were all delicious choices, as well as the sides, which included tasty roasted vegetables and jasmine rice. This is our new Animal Kingdom favorite!
Pros:
Excellent food, great service, nice theming, air conditioning, good valueCons:
Takes a bit longer than quick service but worth itReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 04/11/2023

Honestly, the yak and yeti has some unique options but my family tends to play it safe by getting the lo mein. The lo mein is very good and comes in a large portion. One time I went out of my comfort zone and got the Korean BBQ beef and regretted it. But, that was just my experience. My sister got the miso salmon and liked it but said she would try something different next time. Yak and Yeti is good for families who want something themed to animal kingdom but also want a recognizable entree.
Pros:
- Good food - Unique atmosphere - Mix of unique and recognizable entreesCons:
- Not for those who don’t like Asian cuisineReviewed by QueenBlackFrost Review Date: 03/14/2023

This was my first time eating here. Usually we do FTBBQ, but a friend of mine told me this was her go to at DAK, so we decided to try it. Omigosh, I'm so glad that we did! The food was fresh and tasted amazing. At home, I usually eat a clean, paleo diet and it's hard to find that while exploring a theme park. This place really checked the boxes for how I prefer to eat. I had a seasonal shrimp dish and my husband got the sweet and sour chicken. We both thought this was our best meal of our trip. The atmosphere was also unique. A CM told me that most of the artifacts were real and not replicas and he encouraged me to go upstairs and take as many photos as I wanted. It was also glorious to break up a day at DAK with an hour in air-conditioning. I felt so refreshed after eating and cooling off. This was truly a highlight of our trip.
Pros:
Great service, interesting ambiance, fantastic food!Cons:
Nothing other than it can be difficult to get an ADR.Reviewed by JennyOv2 Review Date: 09/14/2022

Ahi Tuna Nachos - let's take a moment and discuss the BEST Nachos I have had ever! Holy Moly are they good and had I not been in a public restaurant I would have picked up the plate and licked it clean. I had never stopped at Yak & Yeti previously and now it is on the must stop for future vacations.

We had an early dinner here and it was absolutely wonderful. The food was super fresh and the non alcoholic drinks came in light-up cups. They also easily accommodated our larger party.
Pros:
Highly air-conditioned and super fresh food.Cons:

First visited in 2019 with my family (dad is a picky eater) - food was amazing! Service was also incredible!
Ate there again a couple weeks back and it did not live up to expectations. Generous portions but food quality not great for the price. The honey chicken was lovely, but the chicken/shrimp teriyaki was lacking sauce. Service felt rushed
Overall disappointing and would probably swerve the next time we visit animal kingdom
Pros:
Large menu - all Asian food Big portionsCons:
Poor quality of food Service not the usual Disney standardReviewed by Orion Review Date: 05/20/2022

First our server was top notch. My wife works in the food industry & wished she had 10 of her to staff her restaurant. I had the seafood curry & it was SO GOOD! Just enough spice and the portion was huge. The rest of my family are not adventurous eaters at all & still loved what they ordered. I’m still thinking about that seafood curry & wishing I could get it delivered to Michigan. This was our first time eating here & it certainly will not be the last.
Pros:
Lots of options Great service Was able to get a late reservation so it didn’t interfere with park timeCons:

This is another wonderfully themed restaurant in Animal Kingdom. The food is very good, with a wide range of selections both familiar and unusual. I have a food allergy to soy products, and it is hard to accommodate this in Asian restaurant. I had no issues finding something wonderful to eat here.
Pros:
Well themed decor Delicious food Excellent customer serviceCons:
Very popular so reservations can be hard to get Pickiest of eaters may have a problem finding something to eatReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 04/27/2022

LOVE YAK & YETI. This is my go-to restaurant while in Animal Kingdom. The Ahi Tuna Nachos were delicious! And I really enjoyed the Vegetable Lo-Mein, it was a HUGE portion though..especially after an appetizer. Yak & Yeti has great vegetarian options. In addition to their Asian cuisine, they also have burgers, chicken and ribs.
