Restaurant was decorated like a 50s grandma kitchen. Food was very good like home style grandmas cooking. Our waiter Jordan was EXCELLENT he was talking manners to our grandkids elbows off the table, take your hat off etc. The kids had a blast & so did the adults. The chef made a special meal for our youngest granddaughter with allergies. Totally a positive experience.

Pros:

Everything

Nothing

Great atmosphere. The fried chicken and pot roast are both excellent. I would never order pot roast at a restaurant, but this is some of the best I've ever had. The sample plate is a great way to try the different entrees.

Pros:

Outstanding fried chicken and pot roast Onion rings were fantastic Fun atmosphere

Cons:

The milkshakes disappointed us. They were too airy and couldn't be sucked up with the big straw. I'm used to milkshakes being too thick, but these were almost too light and fluffy which meant you had to just use your spoon.

Love this place! It’s always so much fun and I love the atmosphere!

Pros:

The fried chicken is amazing!

Cons:

Sometimes you get a server who doesn’t want to play along, and that’s disappointing.

My extended family ate here in late January, 2025, and had a really nice evening!

We did have a bit of a rocky start. The restaurant was very busy and we had to wait almost 30 minutes past our reservation time to be sat. On the plus side there is a great lounge and the grownups got to have a drink while we waited.

The restaurant is brilliantly decorated like a 50's home. If that isn't your thing this won't influence you, but I felt like I was in my grandma's house and I loved it.

I did not tell my family that the staff gives you chores and ribs you like family would and they really enjoyed the surprise treatment. My young nieces loved telling their daddy over and over again that his elbows weren't allowed on the table! While we were eating a server "punished" a girl who didn't eat her veggies by making her clear the table and carry them to the kitchen. It was hilarious! Our server was very personal and had a great sense of humor. She honed in right away on who was really into the gag and delivered her digs accordingly.

The food - it's comfort food. Nothing new or exciting here. They do it pretty well. One person really liked their fried chicken, the other person thought it was just fine. We all agreed the appetizers the highlight of the meal. Dessert was also fine.

Are there characters here? No. Did my nieces care that black and white tv was playing at our table? No. But the adults sure got a kick out of the shows that were playing! The ambiance is fun and the cast members were great. It wasn't the best meal we had on our trip, but it was definitely the best value for our money. It is a great "value" table service option in a park that doesn't have much to offer in the way of dining. I would return here without hesitation.

Pros:

Cast member interactions, ambiance, price, good for picky eaters

Cons:

Not a very adventurous menu

We went here for my daughter's birthday lunch. Not 1 cast member wished her a "Happy Birthday" and our server was totally bland. Nearly zero interaction and never checked back to see if we needed anything else, or how our food was. The food was tasty as always, and we will likely return, however, the previous year's of cast member interaction and lively antics are long gone. We did not see any other tables having interactions with their servers either.

Pros:

Food is tasty

Cons:

No interaction with the cast members and totally lackluster attitudes

This place is great!! Feels like eating in Grandma's house. The fried chicken is amazing and you won't be leaving hungry.

Pros:

Fun atmosphere and great food. The ranch dressing is amazing, yet somehow vegan. I never would've guessed.

Cons:

I wasn't scolded when I didn't finish my vegetables! lol Also, if you don't like ranch with your salad you are out of luck.

The food was so much better than I thought it would be! I was just tagging along with a family friend for the atmosphere and the PB&J milkshakes, but everything was delicious! I had the meatloaf and really enjoyed it. Our waiter was amazing and we had a ton of fun after a long day.

Pros:

Good food, home feel, fun atmosphere

Cons:

Our table was in a darker room not near the retro tvs
