Bluey has finally made her debut in Disney World, and it seems that Disney has learned some lessons since she made her debut in Disneyland.

Bluey’s Wild World is officially open at Conservation Station in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But if you want to visit this Bluey experience, you’ll first need to sign up for the virtual queue. So let’s see how it’s working on day one of the new experience.
Here’s how it works. You have to join the virtual queue to visit Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station. Currently, you cannot access that experience at all without grabbing the virtual queue.

You can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at either 7 AM or 10 AM. If you want to join at 7 AM, you’ll need a theme park reservation for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but you don’t have to be in the park. If you want to join at 10 AM, you’ll need to be scanned into Animal Kingdom.

We decided to try to join the first virtual queue at 7 AM, and we were successful! In fact, we actually got in for Group 2. And our group was called quick, 10 minutes before the park officially opened.
If you want to have the best shot at getting a virtual queue spot, follow these steps:
- Open the Join Virtual Queue page in the My Disney Experience app several minutes BEFORE the queue opens.
- Click “Confirm My Party” to ensure everyone who wants to join is connected to you in the app and is selected.
- Refresh right at 7 AM or 10 AM on the dot, and click “Join Virtual Queue.”
If your group is connected and you move quickly, you have the best chance at scoring a spot. It’s never guaranteed, but we wish you luck!

Once we got the notification that our group had been called, we headed over to this new experience!
When we got there, we were happy to see that the crowds were very manageable and that the Cast Members were doing a great job getting everyone onto the train. Once we were sitting on the train, we also noticed that the Wildlife Express was pretty empty.

Now, here is the most important update about this virtual queue system. Cast Members will check to see if you have a virtual queue before letting you on the train. However, your group has to have already been called before you board. This can make the timing a little complicated since they will also be scanning your pass again to confirm your virtual queue when you get to the show at Conservation Station.

This means that if your virtual queue cut-off is at 9 AM, you need to be all the way out at Conservation Station before your window ends. We would suggest giving yourself 30 minutes to get over there. On the virtual queue call back screen, Disney even notes, “Please allow additional time to board the Wildlife Express Train.”

Because of the Bluey show, when you get over to the experience, you may have to wait a few minutes to get inside. When we got there, we only waited about 10 minutes. However, when we left the experience a little bit later, the crowds were much higher, with some guests we talked to waiting over an hour to see this show.

While the wait time is very significant, the crowds in the show space were very moderate, which allowed kids to get up, dance, and play with Bluey and Bingo in a personal way.

This virtual queue experience definitely had some ups and downs on opening day. But we are hopeful that as Bluey’s Wild World is open longer, this system will become more efficient and those wait times will go down.

It is important to note that having a space in the virtual queue isn’t a guarantee that you will get to experience an attraction. If the virtual queue moves more slowly, or your callback time is near the end of the day, the park can close or the experience to fill up before you can experience the attraction. As of now, the experience is set to close at 3:45 PM each day.

However, for now, this is the only way to experience Bluey’s Wild World. So if this experience is a must-do for you and your party, make sure to be prepared to snag that virtual queue at 7 AM or at 10 AM if you are already in the park.

We’ll be covering everything new in Disney World today and into the summer, so check back with AllEars again soon for more.
