Bluey Virtual Queue Fills Up in Seconds at Disney World — Here’s How to Get a Spot

Bluey has finally made her debut in Disney World, and it seems that Disney has learned some lessons since she made her debut in Disneyland.

Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station

Bluey’s Wild World is officially open at Conservation Station in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But if you want to visit this Bluey experience, you’ll first need to sign up for the virtual queue. So let’s see how it’s working on day one of the new experience.

Here’s how it works. You have to join the virtual queue to visit Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station. Currently, you cannot access that experience at all without grabbing the virtual queue.

Hey there!

You can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at either 7 AM or 10 AM. If you want to join at 7 AM, you’ll need a theme park reservation for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but you don’t have to be in the park. If you want to join at 10 AM, you’ll need to be scanned into Animal Kingdom.

We decided to try to join the first virtual queue at 7 AM, and we were successful! In fact, we actually got in for Group 2. And our group was called quick, 10 minutes before the park officially opened.

If you want to have the best shot at getting a virtual queue spot, follow these steps:

  • Open the Join Virtual Queue page in the My Disney Experience app several minutes BEFORE the queue opens.
  • Click “Confirm My Party” to ensure everyone who wants to join is connected to you in the app and is selected.
  • Refresh right at 7 AM or 10 AM on the dot, and click “Join Virtual Queue.”

If your group is connected and you move quickly, you have the best chance at scoring a spot. It’s never guaranteed, but we wish you luck!

Once we got the notification that our group had been called, we headed over to this new experience!

When we got there, we were happy to see that the crowds were very manageable and that the Cast Members were doing a great job getting everyone onto the train. Once we were sitting on the train, we also noticed that the Wildlife Express was pretty empty.

Now, here is the most important update about this virtual queue system. We originally thought they would scan your pass to confirm your virtual queue before the Wildlife Express; however, that is not the case. Your passes will not be scanned until you make it to the building at Conservation Station.

This means that if your virtual queue cut-off is at 9 AM, you need to be all the way out at Conservation Station before your window ends. We would suggest giving yourself 30 minutes to get over there. On the virtual queue call back screen, Disney even notes, “Please allow additional time to board the Wildlife Express Train.”

We are so excited!

Because of the Bluey show, when you get over to the experience, you may have to wait a few minutes to get inside, but it did not seem, when we went, that anyone was waiting any more than 10 or 15 minutes.

Then you’re brought into the building to see the show, and this is where the virtual queue system really shone through! Because the crowds in the show space were very moderate, which allowed for kids to get up, dance, and play with Bluey and Bingo in a personal way!

We really felt as though this virtual queue system was run extremely efficiently and was managed very well by Cast Members, and ensured a more fun, positive, and less crowded experience for guests.

Bluey is pretty good at these games!

It is important to note that having a space in the virtual queue isn’t a guarantee that you will get to experience an attraction. If the virtual queue moves more slowly, or your callback time is near the end of the day, the park can close or the experience to fill up before you can experience the attraction. As of now, the experience is set to close at 3:45 PM each day.

Hi Bluey and Bingo!

However, for now, this is the only way to experience Bluey’s Wild World. So if this experience is a must-do for you and your party, make sure to be prepared to snag that virtual queue at 7 AM or at 10 AM if you are already in the park. However, we also found that the virtual queue only applies to the specific Bluey’s Wild World experience, so if you would like to take a ride on the Wildlife Express, visit the animal exhibits at Conservation Station, or check out Jumping Junction, you can do so without a virtual queue!
