Are you planning a trip to Disney World in 2026? First of all, congrats! We’re jealous. Can we come along?

Well, as you may know, a LOT is changing in Disney World over the next few years. You’re bound to see construction almost everywhere throughout the resort, including at Disney World hotels. Will your hotel be impacted by construction in 2026, though? Let’s find out!
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
Surfboard Bay Pool and Kiddie Pool
From January to late April, the Surfboard Bay Pool and Kiddie Pool at All-Star Sports will be closed for regular maintenance. During that time, the Grand Slam Leisure Pool will be available to all guests. All-Star Sports guests may also check out the pools at the other two All-Star resorts.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort
Skyliner
Disney’s Skyliner will be closed for regular maintenance from January 25th through January 31st. Buses will be available for transportation instead.
Rooms
Disney’s Pop Century’s rooms are getting an upgrade, so you can expect to hear and see construction through mid-February while rooms are upgraded. This could also mean that parts of the hotel will be closed during that time.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Skyliner
The Skyliner closure from January 25th through January 31st will also affect Art of Animation. Buses will be available to transport guests to and from the parks.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Skyliner
Finally, the Skyliner closure from January 25th through January 31st will also affect Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. However, buses will be available for transportation.

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside
Rooms
The rooms in the Magnolia Bend area of the resort are being refurbished through February 2026. During that time, you may see and hear construction work during daytime hours.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Bay Cove Pool
Bay Cove Pool, the water play area, and the whirlpool spa will all be closed for maintenance from January 26th through early May. However, all other water offerings at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be available for Bay Lake Tower guests to use.

Bay Lake Tower
Construction is also happening at Bay Lake Tower through July. During this time, rooms may be limited, and guests may see and hear construction during the day.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Kidani Village
Expect construction at Animal Kingdom Lodge at Kidani Village through May. Guest rooms are being refurbished, so expect to see and hear construction there during the day.

Jambo House
Rooms will be refurbished at Jambo House from May through January 2027. Again, this could mean that rooms may be limited during that time, and you’ll see and hear construction.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
The Disney World website states that “some areas of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows are being refurbished through 2026.” That means you could see and hear construction during the day if you’re staying there.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
Exterior Maintenance
Disney has scheduled exterior maintenance at the Yacht Club that will go through late 2026. Expect to see parts of the resort closed, as well as see and hear construction noise during daytime hours.
