Disney World CONFIRMS Return of After Hours Events in 2026

Disney World has just confirmed After Hours events will return in 2026!

Disney After Hours parties have become popular events over the past few years since they were introduced at Disney World, and it doesn’t seem like they’re losing steam yet! If your ideal way to spend time at Disney World’s parks includes reduced crowds, lots of exclusive character meet and greets, dance parties, and free snacks, Disney After Hours events might be just the way to spend your evening. Here’s what we know so far about their return.

If your perfect day at Disney World consists of visiting your favorite parks, riding the rides, grabbing a box of buttery popcorn, and jamming out with some of your favorite Disney pals at night, have we got an announcement for you! Summer nights at Disney World in 2026 are about to get even more exciting because Disney has just officially announced that Disney After Hours events will be returning.

Disney After Hours at Disney World is a separately-ticketed event that can enhance your regular park day until the late hours of the night, or give you that perfect opportunity to sleep in and enjoy the parks late with lower crowds.  Since these Disney After Hours events are limited-capacity parties, you can expect to take advantage of lower wait times for rides and attractions, the chance to meet characters, and plenty of free snacks to fuel your adventure throughout the night.

Disney World has confirmed that Disney After Hours will be returning in 2026 for Magic Kingdom. If you happened to miss out on your chance to attend this year (or just can’t wait to experience it all over again), you may not have to wait long. While specific dates for Magic Kingdom’s After Hours event haven’t been announced just yet, you can bet that we’re keeping a keen watch for them.

In the meantime, Disney World continues to hold the current offerings for Disney After Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT on select evenings. Additionally, over the summer, Disney’s also hosting the H2O Glow After Hours at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park through September 13th.
