It’s no secret that sometimes Disney World rides have to close for refurbishment to ensure they stay in working order.
Peter Pan’s Flight just recently came up from a refurbishment, where one scene was updated, and now we need to remind you that another VERY popular ride in Adventureland is going under refurbishment starting tomorrow!
Yes, Jungle Cruise begins its temporary closure tomorrow, August 26th. The ride will remain closed until October 18th, 2024, as the Disney World refurbishment list has it listed as under refurbishment through October 17th, 2024.
However, this can change! We have seen rides open early and push back their opening dates in the past, so keep that in mind when you’re planning your October trips.
So what’s changing? Well, we aren’t totally sure, but Disney hasn’t officially announced anything major. We’re assuming that the refurbishment will involve touching up the ride and doing routine maintenance.
