So you’re planning your Disney World trip, which means you’re probably researching how to get there, where to eat, and where to stay.

When it comes to accommodations at Disney World, you certainly have a LOT of options, but some are better than others. Right now, though, a few popular hotels could actually be the WORST options, considering some hotels have a LOT going on right now that may impact your stay.
We’re going to tell you about hotels at Disney World that you might want to stay away from, at least for the time being.
Disney’s Beach Club Resort
The Beach Club Resort villas are currently getting some renovations, meaning that some rooms won’t be available because they’re getting upgraded. Other parts of the hotel are also being refurbished. There will be construction noises during the day, meaning that if you head back to your room for a midday nap, it might be a little noisy.

However, Disney does restrict construction between the hours that fall between dusk and 9AM, so at least nights will be quieter. But things might also look a little messy around the resort.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
The Grand Floridian is also getting some upgrades, including new rooms. Disney also previously stated that the lobby of the hotel would soon be getting a makeover.

That means, as we previously mentioned, you’ll hear construction noise during the day around the hotel.
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is in the middle of a massive upgrade, which will include two new dining spots (The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers and Blue Ribbon Corn Dog). The hotel is also getting upgraded rooms and a refurbished lobby.

Needless to say, there’s a lot of construction going on around the BoardWalk, so you might not want to book a stay there.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is getting a new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) tower. The former Spirit of Aloha show building was demolished to make way for a new Disney DVC building, and construction is currently underway.

We’ve already seen how construction has affected walkways around the area, plus there will be construction noise during the day. If you’re in a building close to the construction site, you may want to request to move elsewhere in the hotel.
So before you book that Disney World hotel, we just wanted you to know about the construction at these hotels that could affect your stay. We’ll continue to keep you updated on the existing construction at hotels, along with any new construction we see, so be sure to check back with AllEars again soon.
