The Random Change That Popped Up in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland

It’s no secret that Disney World has construction going on EVERYWHERE around the resort.

EPCOT has tons of projects going on, and multiple resorts are under construction as well. What we didn’t expect, however, was to walk into Magic Kingdom and realize something was…different.

Walking into Tomorrowland we realized that the rocks around the entrance were looking very vibrant. We talked with a Cast Member and it was confirmed that the rocks have begun to be painted to be touched up!

Why did they need to be touched up? Well, that hot Orlando sun has dulled the paint, and it had begun to chip. Not only does that mean that you can see the old paint underneath, but you could also start to see the bronze base of the “rocks” as well.

You can really see the difference between the new paint and the old coat — look at the difference in vibrance!

We can’t wait to see these rocks fully repainted because we feel it’ll really make the entrance pop.
