An EPCOT Restaurant Could Be CHANGING Soon

Disney World is changing all the time. No two days are alike and plenty of new experiences are in the works.

This is especially true in one particular park — EPCOT — which has been going through a years-long transformation (that has no end in sight.) Even more updates are on the way, too, thanks to a new permit that was recently filed.

EPCOT is home to delicious eats, iconic attractions, and it will soon be home to a new fireworks show too. And, according to a new permit that was recently filed, it also might be home to a new gelato cart.

You might be familiar with Gelateria Toscana — a gelato stand that opened in the Italy Pavilion back in 2021. This spot serves up gelati, sorbetti, gelati floats, and more at this charming stand. You’ll find lots of flavors of gelato and sorbet available when you visit, including gluten-friendly and plant-based flavors.

The permit appears to point to Gelateria Toscana, and more specifically, the description is listed as “install cart.” It sounds like Disney could be putting in a new cart to serve guests or potentially replacing one. We’ll be keeping an eye out for sure.

In the meantime, we can’t wait for the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival to kick off on July 27th! This fest will run through mid-November, and features over 25 food booths, exciting entertainment, and more.
