There are currently two storm systems in the nearby area — Fred and Grace. Here’s the latest update on how both storms are progressing.

According to the National Hurricane Center, Fred has redeveloped into a tropical storm as it moves over the southeastern Gulf of Mexico. Central Florida is not currently in its direct path, but Tropical Storm Fred could bring potentially life-threatening storm surge conditions to parts of the Florida Panhandle.

Following behind Fred is Tropical Storm Grace. On Sunday morning, forecasters said that the southwest tip of Florida is still in the cone of uncertainty for the storm, which remains disorganized as it approaches Puerto Rico. In an 11AM update, the National Hurricane Center said Grace is about 85 miles south of San Juan, with maximum sustained winds remaining at 40 mph.
