I’ve Eaten Everywhere in EPCOT’s World Showcase and These Are the 7 Restaurants I’d Pick Again and Again

When it comes to Walt Disney World’s theme parks, there’s none better known for its dining than EPCOT’s World Showcase. Through the unique dining options in each of the World Showcase’s country pavilions, the park offers a wide variety of options.

Quincy is ready for some food reviews!

However, even with all those options, there are still certain World Showcase eateries I find myself returning to over and over and over again!

Akershus

Pastries with meat and cheese

Located in Norway, this eatery offers breakfast options including scrambled eggs and Norwegian waffles, while lunch and dinner guests can munch on traditional kjØttkake (Norwegian meatballs) and grilled salmon, all in a medieval setting complete with Disney Princess meals.

Menus: Breakfast, Lunch/Dinner, Children's Lunch/Dinner
Services: Buffet/All You Care to Eat

The Princesses usually include Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, Tiana, Aurora, and Ariel, a similar lineup to those who appear at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Meaning you can meet the most of the same characters and enjoy all-you-care-to-eat dining for a LOWER COST. Definitely one we’d recommend.

Biergarten

Biergarten

Located in Germany, this full Oktoberfest experience features plenty of authentic German dishes, including bratwurst, roasted chicken, pork schnitzel, and a variety of salads, as well as hand-pulled apple strudel for dessert. And of course, a huge selection of German beers and wine.

Last time we ate here, we were pleasantly surprised at the large amount of food for a relatively reasonable price compared to other Disney restaurants. Plus, there’s a German “oompah band, providing entertainment at the center of the room.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

Yuuuuum

While World Showcase offers a variety of international offerings, if you’re in the mood for some old-fashioned American BBQ, the American Adventure has you covered. The restaurant offers BBQ classics like pulled pork, brisket, chicken, and burgers, as well as a selection of beers, and… THE MUPPETS!

Spice Road Table

Calamari with Harissa Remoulade

When I’m feeling Mediterranean, Spice Road Table in Morocco is my top choice. Providing brilliant waterside views of the World Showcase Lagoon, this eatery offers classic regional small plates, naan spreads, desserts, and a selection of specialty drinks, beers, and wines.

Speaking of Spice Road, another quick tip about the Moroccan restaurant. There’s a perk located in the restaurant’s foyer that’s available to any guest, even those not eating there: Ice Water. This is some of the coldest water you’ll find at the park, and it provides a wonderful respite on a hot day.

Les Halles Boulangerie-Pâtisserie

It’s time for a GIANT croissant

Sandwiches on French baguettes? Yes. Specialties like Quiche Lorraine and Croque Monsieur? Yes. Macarons, Giant Croissants, and French wines? YES PLEASE! What else is there to say about this traditional bakery located in the France Pavilion?

When it’s available, we really enjoyed the $13.95 Croiss Oh La La. This MASSIVE croissant is about 1/3rd covered in chocolate, and is delicious. Word of warning, though? Try and eat it while you can, and that chocolate will melt and get a bit messy in the heat.

Yorkshire County Fish Shop

Fish and Chips from Yorkshire County Fish Shop

Okay, so the main appeal of the Yorkshire County Fish Shop starts and ends with the ability to get the Beer-Battered Fish and Chips without needing to have a table at the Rose & Crown Dining Room.

Le Cellier

12-oz. New York Strip Steak with Crispy Brussels Sprouts and Sauce Flight

Perhaps EPCOT’s best-known table service restaurant, this steakhouse lives up to the hype the majority of the time, especially the Filet Mignon. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the poutine options!

If any of the table service options above strike your fancy, we’d definitely suggest making a reservation to ensure you get a table. Remember, you can book 60 days for your visit beginning at approximately 6:00 AM EST (though you can start refreshing at 5:45 AM EST) online and beginning at 7:00 AM EST over the phone.

Of course, if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel, you’ll actually be able to book for the whole duration of your trip (up to 10 days) beginning 60 days before your arrival, so you could conceivably book up to 70 days out.

World Showcase offers a litany of dining options, but there are some I go back to over and over and over again! Stay tuned to AllEars for more on Disney World’s dining options.
