This EPCOT Holiday Tradition Is Coming BACK and Reservations Open SOON

Spooky season may have just begun, but we’re already thinking about the most wonderful time of the year!

Festival of the Holidays

The EPCOT Festival of the Holidays begins on November 28th and runs till December 30th. The festival offers a diverse array of traditional holiday foods from around the world, engaging storytellers, and lively entertainment. One of our favorite things about the holidays at EPCOT is that it also brings a festive ride overlay to one of the most underrated rides at Disney World!

If you’re looking for a travel agent to help with your vacation, we recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!

Disney Vacation Planner

One of our favorite rides at EPCOT is Living with the Land. It’s a leisurely boat ride that takes you through various environments, providing valuable insights into our ecosystems, vegetation, farming practices, and agricultural systems. The ride focuses on conservation and sustainable practices, while still being able to feed the populations of the world. The boat ride ends with a tour of the Disney World greenhouses. The food grown here is used at restaurants around the resort, particularly at Garden Grill, and many foods are used for their festivals year-round. If you haven’t been on it before, we’re begging you to change that!

Living With the Land

The holidays take this wonderful ride, and make it even BETTER! The whole greenhouse section of the attraction is decorated with Christmas decorations and lights. It’s a beautiful overlay that brings joy to our world, and it’s even better at night (make sure you remember that).

Glimmering Greenhouses at Living with the Land

Last year, we got to immerse ourselves even more into the holiday greenhouse with the Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouse tour. We absolutely enjoyed the new tour, and guess what?! It’s back again this year!

It’s like a magical show!

Behind the Seeds is a backstage tour of our favorite attraction offered year-round. However, you can take the tour for the evening holiday version — Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses! Unlike the regular version of this tour, you get to see the greenhouse Christmas lights all lit up. You’ll also get to learn about festive uses for the vegetation and spices that are grown there!

It’s so pretty!

So, why are we talking about this now? Well, if you want to experience this holly jolly tour this year, get your calendars out. Bookings for Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouse open on October 9th!

Wave to the riders!

Last year, Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses was available at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM until December 30th for $45. The regular Behind the Seeds tour is offered year-round at various times for $39-$45. Both variations of this tour are lots of fun and very interesting! We highly recommend checking them out if you’re headed to EPCOT.

It’s really pretty!

We can’t wait for this tour to come back, and honestly, we can’t wait for Christmas in general (sorry, Halloween). For more Disney news and updates, make sure to stay tuned to AllEars.
