CONFIRMED: EPCOT Park Hours Will Change in November

We know we’re in the fall season, but who wants to talk about Christmas at Disney World?

Festival of the Holidays

Disney has been dropping lots of news surrounding the Festival of the Holidays lately, so now we can’t stop thinking about the most wonderful time of the year. If you’re like us and you’re already planning your Christmas Disney vacation, you should know that EPCOT will be changing its park hours during the Festival of the Holidays!

If you’re looking for a travel agent to help with your vacation, we recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!

Disney Vacation Planner

EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays begins on November 28th, and is one of EPCOT’s most beautiful festivals. It’s filled with all kinds of exclusive treats, drinks, and holiday stories — told by special storytellers around the World Showcase. You’ll have the opportunity to experience special meet-and-greets, holiday activities, and more.

And, starting November 28th, EPCOT will be closing at 9:30PM each night instead of its usual 9PM closing time.

One of our favorite parts about the Festival of the Holidays has to be the Candlelight Processional — a performance featuring a mass choir of Cast Members and community singers, the Voices of Liberty, a 50-piece orchestra, and a celebrity narrator sharing the Christmas story. Oh, by the way, Disney has released the FULL list of celebrities who will be narrating this year (as if we weren’t excited enough)!

There are three shows every night during the festival. Showtimes are at 5 PM, 6:45 PM, and 8:15 PM EST this year at the America Gardens Theatre at the American Pavilion.

Since the final show of the Candlelight Processional ends late, the park won’t be closing at 9 PM during the festival. Instead, starting on November 28th, EPCOT will switch its closing time to 9:30 PM throughout the entirety of the Festival of the Holidays. This is so that EPCOT can still have its fireworks show, Luminous, following the last Candlelight show.

EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

This comes as no surprise, as this happens every year for the Festival of the Holidays. Hey, we’ll always take an extra 30 minutes of Disney!

Since we’re talking about entertainment during the festival, you may want to check out “JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season”. The show brings a joyous tribute to Christmas and Kwanzaa with gospel, R&B, and holiday songs to EPCOT. The show will be held daily from November 28th to December 30th, 2025, at 2 PM, 3:05 PM, 4:05 PM, and 5:10 PM. Just be aware, it’s moving to the CommuniCore Plaza Stage this year.

Joyful!

We’re so excited for the Festival of the Holidays, but for now, we’re more than happy to enjoy the amazing Food and Wine Festival. For more Disney news and updates, be sure to stay tuned to AllEars.
