Disney World is filled with so many places to eat, and we love going around to try everything that we can!

We recently went to the Pinocchio Village Haus to try a brand-new treat, and we’re going to have to go back for it again! Here are our thoughts and why you need to try it out.
Pinocchio Village Haus is a quick-service restaurant themed after the Disney animated classic Pinocchio, located in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. It might not be the first choice of place for most Disney goers, but it still can get pretty popular if you’re in the mood for pizza, as this spot is known for its flatbreads!

Since it’s a quick service location, you can order at the counter or use the My Disney Experience App for a mobile order. The theming inside and out is very nice as it incorporates German-style architecture and elements. Around the inside of the quick service spot, you’ll find artwork that tells the story of Pinocchio.

Anyway, let’s get to what we ordered to eat! We got he brand-new Pinocchio Cookie Tart for $5.79. To get straight to the point, this thing was DELICIOUS! It was a cookie tart filled with chocolate ganache, and topped with chantilly cream, cookie dough crumbles, and a chocolate piece.

If you’re a fan of chocolate, then you are going to love this treat — which you can probably see by looking at it. The chocolate ganache was a creamy chocolate that just covered the whole top of the treat. It was very tasty and surprisingly wasn’t too chocolatey, it was a good amount of chocolate. When you eat it, the chocolate is very soft on your tongue. This would be a great comfort food, to be honest!

The cookie dough crumble on top was also amazing. There wasn’t a ton of cookie dough chunks, but that was probably the right choice to avoid making the treat TOO much. The cream on top was very light and fluffy, but it wasn’t anything special. Picture whipped cream you buy from the store in a can, it kinda tastes like that.

The tart wasn’t that sweet, which was an excellent balance for all the chocolate on top. The tart was very soft with a subtle crunch to it — again, it was just so good! Since it was softer, it was easy to cut into with a fork and knife. The white chocolate on top had a cute Pinocchio design on it. It just tasted like white chocolate. We’ve had ones in the past that taste kind of waxy, but this one wasn’t bad.

Without even eating it, we knew it would be good — it just looks so tasty! The price was fine for the sweet treat. We probably wouldn’t pay over $7 for this thing because it’s a smaller-ish type of cookie. However, at the cost it was at it wasn’t bad. One more thing to note is it wasn’t available via mobile order, because this is a newer treat. We had to go to the counter on the day we tried it, so keep that in mind.

We would go back for this 100%, and we recommend it to you as well — especially if you’re a chocolate fan! For more Disney food reviews, make sure to stay tuned to AllEars.
