If you are heading to Disney World soon, you might be wondering if it will be worth it for your family to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Lightning Lane Single Pass, or Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

It comes down to knowing your family, your budget, and what you hope to accomplish while you are at Disney World. However, we do think there is one Disney World ride that is worth the $16 for Lightning Lane Single Pass.
Lightning Lane Single Pass is one part of the Lightning Lane system at Disney World. You can also purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Lightning Lane Premier Pass. With Lightning Lane Single Pass, you can purchase a la carte Lightning Lane passes for the most popular rides. You can make 2 Single Pass selections per day in advance.

If you are staying at a Disney World hotel or other select hotels, you can make your selections 7 days before your check-in day for your entire stay (up to 14 days). Everyone else can begin making their selection 3 days in advance. You can purchase and make your selections in the My Disney Experience app.

Attractions that are a part of the Lightning Lane Single Pass system are not available if you purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. The attractions available with Single Pass are the most popular attractions in the parks, and you can only get access to their Lightning Lanes with Lightning Lane Single Pass or Lightning Lane Premier Pass. The following attractions are available through the Lightning Lane Single Pass system:
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- TRON Lightcycle / Run
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
- Avatar: Flight of Passage

So, which one do we think is actually worth the money for Lightning Lane Single Pass? We think Avatar Flight of Passage is the ride that gives you the best deal for your money. Avatar Flight of Passage has consistently had some of the highest wait times in Disney World since it opened.

In the past five weeks, it had the highest average wait time of all Disney World attractions. On average, you can expect to wait about 95.2 minutes to ride Avatar Flight of Passage. That’s right, on average, you will wait more than an hour and a half to ride. While we think this ride is gorgeous and a must-ride in Disney World, one and a half hours is a good chunk of time.

With a Lightning Lane Single Pass, you can drastically decrease your wait time for one of the best rides at Disney World. On average, a Lightning Lane Single Pass costs about $16 per person for Avatar Flight of Passage. However, the prices change based on demand, so the Lightning Lane Single Pass could be more or less depending on your chosen date.

If you are looking for other Lightning Lane Single Passes that could help save you time in line, you may also want to consider booking one for TRON Lightcycle / Run or Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. TRON had an average wait of 83 minutes in the past five weeks, and Rise of the Resistance had an average wait of 81 minutes. You can also try to get on these attractions right at rope drop or stop by close to the park close to try and take advantage of shorter wait times.
