Lengthy Closure Revealed for Magic Kingdom Attraction

If you’ve got an upcoming trip to Magic Kingdom planned, we’ve got some closure news we need to share.

On February 24th, 2025, the indoor playground in the queue of Dumbo the Flying Elephant at Magic Kingdom, will close for a lengthy refurbishment.

The indoor children’s playground that serves as a welcome distraction from the queue for Dumbo the Flying Elephant at Magic Kingdom will be closed for refurbishment on February 24th.

According to the Disney World website, the closure will last until sometime during the spring, and no official reopening date has been listed yet.

Luckily, the Dumbo ride isn’t closing! You’ll still be able to enjoy this attraction, but Disney will reroute the queue to avoid the construction zone. Unfortunately, this means you’ll have to find something else to entertain your kiddos while waiting for this ride.
