I’d Bet My Next Paycheck That These 4 Disney World Hotel Tips Will Come in Handy in 2025

There are so many perks when it comes to staying at a Disney World hotel. From free transportation to extra time in the parks, choosing to stay at one of Disney World’s many resorts can bring you even closer to the magic.

We are days away from ringing in the New Year, which means you are one step closer to your 2025 vacation to Disney World, and if you are planning to stay on property during your vacation, these four hotel tips will come in handy!

We have stayed at every single hotel across Disney World, so we happen to know a thing or two about Disney World hotels; so let’s get into some tips!

Disney’s Art of Animation

Pack Your Swimsuit for Check-in Day

In 2025, a brand new hotel perk will be introduced to Disney World hotel guests. On your first day of check-in, those linked to your hotel reservation will receive free admission to a Disney World water park. When 2025 rolls around, the current water park that will be open is Blizzard Beach, as Typhoon Lagoon is closed for the winter season.

Admission is only good on your day of check-in and is a way for you and your party to pass the time as you wait for your room to be ready if you arrive before 4 PM. Suppose you want to take advantage of this perk. In that case, we suggest packing your swimsuit and other items you would need for the water park at the top of your suitcase or in a separate bag to make it easier to hit the water park as soon as you check your luggage with Bell Services at your hotel.

You don’t have to worry about packing towels, as Disney World hotel guests get free towel rentals at both water parks!

Get Up Early or Stay Out Late

No matter if you choose to stay at a Value, Moderate, or Deluxe Resort, you can take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry, where you can enter the park 30 minutes before the general public. While this does mean waking up early, it also could help you get in line for a popular ride before the park opens to everyone.

Early Theme Park Entry

If you are staying at a Deluxe Resort, you can partake in Extended Evening Hours, where on select nights each week, one of the parks stays open two hours past close for Deluxe Resort and other participating hotel guests only. The parks really do empty out and many attractions have little to no wait.

Mark Your Calendars for Lightning Lane Reservations

If you are looking to purchase Lighting Lane Multi, Single, or Premier Pass, Disney World hotel guests have an advantage and can buy and make their selections seven days in advance. In comparison, the general public can only purchase and make their selections three days in advance. So don’t miss out, mark your calendars, and set your alarms for seven days before your check-in date.

Enjoy Your Hotel

Sometimes, a Disney World vacation does not feel like a vacation. You are paying all this money to stay at your hotel, so you should enjoy it! We always recommend taking a rest day in between park days to give your body time to recharge.

Pop Century Resort

You can visit the pool, do some shopping, partake in resort activities like a movie under the stars, or hop aboard Disney transportation and check out another hotel. You could make a whole day out of just exploring your hotel and other hotels!
