These Will Be The Most POPULAR Disney World Rides in 2025

Before you know it, we’ll be deep into the holiday season in Disney World and looking ahead to 2025.

Now, some big changes are coming to Disney World in 2025, including a lot of construction in Magic Kingdom as Disney adds Cars-themed expansion and a Villains-themed land. Even Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom will be changing, too. These changes are going to affect a lot, including rides, and we’re ready to predict which rides will be the most popular in 2025.

So these are the rides we think will be the most popular when the new year rolls around.

Magic Kingdom

In Magic Kingdom, TRON Lightcycle / Run recently went from virtual queue to a standby queue. This is going to make this ride a LOT more popular, and we’ve already seen some pretty long standby lines for the ride. If you’re wanting to ride it without a wait, you may want to try to score that Lightning Lane Single Pass to bypass the long standby line.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is still a popular ride in Magic Kingdom — we always see long wait times posted for it. If it’s a must, we highly recommend grabbing a Lightning Lane Single Pass for the ride.

We also generally recommend Lightning Lane Multi Pass for Magic Kingdom — this is the park where you can get the most value out of it.

EPCOT

Test Track is getting completely reimagined, so it will practically be a new ride when it reopens in 2025. That means the demand for the ride will be high. We’re not sure how Disney plans on handling lines: if a virtual queue will be ready or if it will just have standby and Multi Pass lines, but we can imagine the standby waits are going to be long.

Currently, the most popular ride in EPCOT with the longest lines is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. If you want to ride it with a shorter wait, grab Lightning Lane Multi Pass to bypass those long lines.

You can then use that Multi Pass for many of EPCOT’s other rides, too.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

There are two VERY popular rides in Hollywood Studios, and we don’t expect that to change in 2025. First, Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge almost always has wait times of an hour or longer. This ride is one of the most high-tech rides in Disney World and that means it’s a MUST for a lot of folks. Want to ride it quickly? Grab the Lightning Lane Single Pass for it.

However, you’ll also want to consider getting Lightning Lane Multi Pass if you plan on riding Slinky Dog Dash. This ride almost always has long lines, too, and most of the wait is outside in the elements, which could mean you’re sweating in the Florida sun or getting soaked during a random Florida thunderstorm.

That Multi Pass is also good for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Tower of Terror, and more.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

So a ride you might not think of being super popular could be THE most popular ride in Animal Kingdom. That ride is Dinosaur, and it will be closing at some time (maybe even in 2025) as Disney converts Dinoland, U.S.A. into a new land, Pueblo Esperanza. A lot of visitors are going to want to “go get that dino” one last time before the Dino Institute closes.

Animal Kingdom will also get a NEW attraction. It’s Tough To Be A Bug will be closing inside the Tree of Life and will be replaced by Zootopia: Better Zoogether. This brand new show is set to open in 2025, and being that it will be new, it will also be popular.

We don’t yet know if this attraction will have a Lightning Lane, but it might be worth purchasing Multi Pass or Single Pass (whichever is available) if it’s a must during your 2025 trip.

We’re looking forward to all the changes that are coming in 2025, but we just want to make sure you’re prepared, too. Check back with AllEars again soon for more.
