One of Our FAVORITE EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Activities Is BACK (And Comes with a PRIZE!)

It’s officially spooky season (although we’ve been well into it here at Disney World) and it’s time to check out all the Halloween fun we can have at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Aside from special ticketed events and fun decorative treats, there is an exclusive seasonal activity you can participate in, and it even comes with a special prize at the end! Let’s take a look, shall we?

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is a scavenger hunt at EPCOT that’s full of Halloween fun and it’s back for the 2024 fall season! Running from September 27 to November 1, this scavenger hunt sends you on a hunt for character-themed pumpkins scattered around EPCOT.

To join the hunt, all you have to do is purchase a map from select merchandise stores such as Creations Shop, Port of Entry, and World Traveler. The map also comes with stickers you can use to mark every pumpkin you find. Once you’ve finished your hunt, you can turn in your map to any of the shops listed and collect a special prize.

To receive the prize, however, you don’t exactly need to participate in the hunt. As long as you turn in your map, you’re guaranteed a prize! The prize at the end is lowkey the best part of this scavenger hunt (aside from the fun of hunting adorable pumpkins!) and it’s extra special because it’s exclusive to this event.

The prizes are pumpkin-shaped sippers themed like several Disney characters, including the lovable Stitch…

…Goofy dressed up as a spooky tree with zombie-like hands sprouting from the ground…

…Minnie wearing an adorable cat headband with pink pumpkins…

…Pluto with some yummy-looking Halloween candy inside of a cauldron…

…And, last but not least, the sipper we chose as our prize when we completed the scavenger hunt: Mickey Mouse wearing a pumpkin hat with flying bats all around!

We love our prize and think it’s definitely worth purchasing the scavenger hunt map. It’s a great way to change up how you experience EPCOT while doing an activity that fits the season.
