It’s a safe bet that you’re going to encounter some lengthy queue lines at Disney World!

The four Disney World parks have their top culprits like Frozen Ever After at EPCOT, Slinky Dog Dash at Hollywood Studios, and Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom. There’s another ride that fits perfectly in this list — Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom! So, when’s the best time to try and hit it up? Let’s talk about it!
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train has been an incredibly popular attraction at Magic Kingdom basically since the day it opened. If it’s been a while since you’ve ridden it, let’s refresh your memory about it and set the stage.

The coaster is themed after the classic film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It has elements of a dark ride and a super smooth, swaying coaster.

You’ll travel through the Dwarfs’ mine as they work as they sing “Heigh-Ho”, the forest, and even Snow White’s cottage.

It definitely captures the essence and nostalgia of the film while offering a pretty thrilling ride experience.
For the Lowest Wait Times
You’re excited to ride it, right? You’ll often find that the line gets a wait time of well over an hour, but there are at least two times a day when you could get in the queue and probably wait a whole lot less.

First up, probably the best time to get in line for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is right at the end of the night/while the fireworks are happening. It’s hard to time it right, but there’s something magical if you’re able to ride on it during the fireworks.

In case you didn’t know, as long as you get in line before the clock strikes the park closing time, you should be able to ride without too long of a wait!
Also, in the past, we’ve seen some success first thing in the morning especially since the day won’t have gotten so hot yet. The coaster is open for Early Theme Park Entry (a perk that allows Disney World hotel guests to get into the park 30 minutes early) so we recommend heading there if you qualify.

Yes, you’ll find others rope-dropping this ride too, but it’ll still be a more reasonable wait time typically than during the middle of the day.
