This May Be the LAST Trace of a CLOSED Magic Kingdom Attraction

Country Bear Jamboree, an opening day Magic Kingdom attraction, has officially closed in Disney World.

Country Bear Jamboree closed

Now, don’t panic! The show itself isn’t going away for good, but this first (and currently only) rendition is being replaced by a new, similar show arriving this summer. But if you’re bummed about missing the show while it’s closed, we have some good news!

You can still meet four of the beloved bears wandering around Frontierland! Their meet times can change daily, so keep an eye on that My Disney Experience app. On the app, you’ll see times for Shaker

…and Liver Lips McGrowl, whose name is set to be changed to Romeo McGrowl with the new version of the show.

Since Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and now Country Bear Jamboree are both under construction, the only things you can do in Frontierland are ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, meet the Country Bears, check out Tom Sawyer Island, and shoot at the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade. Oh, and, of course, you can still enjoy a meal there, too!

The show will go on sometime this summer, and we’ll be keeping our ears open for an opening date. Until then, we’ll be sure to keep you updated with all the latest Disney news, so stay tuned to AllEars!
