Let’s Van GOGH! OK, all you artsy people, it’s time to show off your knowledge of Picasso’s Blue Period and Warhol’s influence on pop culture. We’re here at the 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Arts, and we’re ready to eat, drink, and be entertained!

This year’s festival runs from January 12th through February 19th! Now, bust out your paintbrushes and sketch pencils, and let’s explore EVERYTHING the festival has to offer this year.

Atmosphere

You can’t have an EPCOT festival without some fancy schmancy decorations, right? This year, we’re admiring all the new topiaries, photo ops, and banners scattered around the park.

A little rainy, but still artsy!

Step one when you arrive in EPCOT? Pick up a festival passport. These little booklets are available at the park entrance and various festival booths. Inside, you’ll find a list of menus, as well as activities, merchandise, and entertainment available during the event.

We got our map and passport — let’s do this!

You can also find a festival guide on the My Disney Experience app. Just search “Festival of the Arts.”

OK, now let’s head inside and see what’s happening this year!

Crowds

The crowds on the opening day of the festival are quite busy! There were lots of people when first arrived and throughout the walkways. Even on this rainy day, people want to check out the festival.

There are lots of people here this morning!

Note that the World Showcase typically gets busier as you get closer to lunch and dinner. Fair warning — you may have to wait in some long lines at those food booths!

Merchandise

Specialty merchandise is basically an EPCOT festival staple. Let’s take a look at some of the NEW limited-edition merch this year!

Over at the Creations Shop, we’ve got this adorable Figment plush for $24.99.

Everyone was LOVING the Figment souvenirs!

These LUG bags were especially popular!

There is a very nice Figment backpack by LUG that was selling out quickly! It was $90 and not lasting long.

Not long into the festival and the LUG backpack is officially SOLD-OUT!

Turns out, Disney magic does exist! The sold-out LUG backpacks have magically become back in stock.

And how adorable are these Figment Munchlings? We might have an obsession.

It’s not really a festival if there’s not a new Spirit Jersey, right? We are loving the new one this year, also featuring Figment! What do you think?

Why yes, we would buy a holiday ornament in January when it’s as cute as this one!

We can’t miss out on getting a popcorn bucket!

You order it on the My Disney Experience app (Disney World app) then pick it up at the Odyssey building!

Here’s ours! It costs $30 this year.

Now that we’ve checked that out, let’s move on to the FOOD!

Food Studios

It’s time for one of our FAVORITE parts of the festival: the food! Of course, we’ll be taking you with us to every food booth in the park! And don’t miss out on the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine while you’re stopping at each of the booths.

Prizes for the Wonderful Walk of Color Cuisine!

First up, we stopped at Swirled Showcase. However, we found that it was having some trouble with its soda machines and soft serve machines!

But we were able to get the new Cupcake soft-serve in a waffle cone while everything else was being fixed. Beware, it melts very quickly!

Next stop — Figment’s Inspiration Station!

Everything is returning to this booth (except the popcorn bucket).

You can get a Rainbow Cake with freeze dried Skittles, Grape Smoothie with freeze dried Skittles, a Rainbow Beer Flight, and a Blueberry-filled Pastry Tart.

Then, we stopped by to grab a deconstructed meal at Deconstructed Dish!

This is food and art.

Shortly after, we hopped over to the France pavilion to check out L’Art de La Cuisine Francaise!

Over in Morocco, we stopped at Tangierine Cafe for their bread with hummus, chermoula, and zhoug dips and the chocolate cake!

At the Mexico pavilion, we tried all the new items at El Artista Hambriento!

Then we stopped by The Craftsman’s Courtyard where you can get Grilled Pork Belly, Grilled Marinated Skirt Steak, and a Coffee Old Fashioned Cocktail.

You know we love the booth at Canada! Here’s the Gourmet Landscapes booth.

You can find a Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine item at Gourmet Landscapes — the Verjus-roasted Beets!

Who’s ready for an artistic take on a classic tomato soup and grilled cheese? We are at Pop Eats! for their delicious soup and sandwiches!

You know we love funnel cakes and we love ice cream, so of course we got the funnel cake ice cream sandwich! You can pick it up for $12.

Chocolate fans, you’re going to want to RUN to Pastoral Palate for the Black Forest Cake! And the beef short rib is incredibly tender!

We can’t go wrong with Duck and Dumplings over at The Artist’s Table!

At Cuisine Classique, you can grab the Beef Wellington or the Cast Iron-roasted P.E.I Mussels! This was a favorite booth for us!

It’s no surprise that we tried the classic sushi donut at Goshiki!

Activities

Aside from eating and shopping, there are also quite a few artsy things that you can do during the EPCOT Festival of the Arts.

Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt

Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt is BACK! This scavenger hunt game takes you all around the World Showcase to search for Figment. But, because this is an ARTS festival, Figmet is hidden in famous pieces of art!

Figment’s Brush With The Masters Scavenger Hunt!

You can pick up the scavenger hunt maps at Creations Shop, Port or Entry, or World Traveler for $9.99. Once you’ve found all the pieces of art, you can head to Disney Traders or World Traveler to pick up your prize.

Either a paint your own Figment or paint your own Mickey figurine!

Note that you will get one prize per completed map.

Chalk Art

The Festival of the Arts is also known for having some SUPER impressive chalk art. Potentially due to the weather on the first day, we only saw the one piece of art, but it was amazing!

The only chalk art of the day

Watch artists create REAL art right on the sidewalk. The best part is that the art is constantly changing, so keep checking back for new and exciting chalk art!

There is also a Kid’s Chalk Art area where the kids can create their own fun chalk art!

Paint By Numbers Wall

Another free activity is the Paint By Numbers Wall. Here, you’ll have the chance to help create a work of art! You’ll pick up a paintbrush, then find the number that corresponds with your paint color and fill in the artwork!

It’s pretty fun to say you contributed to a HUGE masterpiece, right?

Go paint-by-number at the festival!

Photo Ops

Don’t forget to check out all the art-inspired photo ops around EPCOT this year! With these fun photo spots, you get to become PART of the artwork.

Entertainment

This year, look out for plenty of fun and exciting Festival of the Arts entertainment! You’ll find an assortment of entertainment around the park.

The big draw (get it, since it’s an art festival?) is the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, with performances from a variety of different Disney Broadway artists. The shows happen at the America Gardens Theatre on select nights. Check the full lineup to see who’s visiting during your trip!

Disney on Broadway information is in the passport!

There is also a show on Spaceship Earth for the festival! Rainbow Connections is shown on the globe at night and it is beautiful.
